SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE Collection is comprised mostly of images of military and civilian personages; among them are clergymen, diplomats, abolitionists, actors, educators, royalty, and politicians. Included are Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses Grant, Jefferson Davis, General Benjamin Butler, John Wilkes Booth, and General Thomas Stonewall Jackson.
