July 2015 Issue 6 Volume 1 Major s Monthly Message The month of June has come and gone as we now look forward to the hot days of July. The month of June will be remembered as one of the worst on record for Attacks on our Heritage, FLAGS, license plates and the Desecration of our Monuments. I was going to write something about the SCV VIRGINIA DIVISION RESOLUTION in regards to the Virginia Flaggers and the Army of Northern Virginia Mechanized Cavalry, but I will not waste my time on that worthless document. (Included on page 2 for those that have not read it.) Instead I will share a interesting encounter I had with a 6yr old and his Grandmother. On Monday June 29th, I went to the Prince George County Electric Co-Op in Prince George County to pay my electric bill, as I sat in the Confederate mobile in front of the office writing a check. I observed a lady and a young child at a vehicle parked next to me, as the lady opened the car door and told the young boy to get in the car, I heard the boy say, Grandma I have to tell you something. The Grandma told the boy again to get into the car. The boy again said, Grandma I have to tell you something. She replied, What? The boy said, CONFEDERATE HISTORY IS AMERICAN HISTORY. The Grandma said, What? The boy repeated it again. I then realized he was reading this on my car. I then replied yes it is. I then spoke with the Grandma, who told me that she was a retired school teacher and that she is appalled at what the schools are teaching our children today. She said that the schools are trying to phase out HISTORY all together. I then provided her with some reading materials that she could share with her grandson. It s amazing that with all of the stickers on my vehicle, he chose to read that one. I can only hope that he will remember those words Forever. I know that I will remember this young man, because he stopped Grandma in her tracks as he read those words. The Dinwiddie Flag Raising on SUNDAY June 28th was Amazing. Special thanks to the Virginia Flaggers, Susan Hathaway, Grayson Jennings, Earl Mayton, Edmund Ruffin Fire Eaters Camp, Order of Confederate Rose, and everyone who participated and helped make this happen. GOD BLESS THE SOUTH, Major Willie Wells

Virginia Division Executive Council Resolution Resolution Adopted Unanimously at the June 14, 2015 Executive Council Meeting of the Virginia Division, Sons of Confederate Veterans in Williamsburg, Virginia Whereas the Sons of Confederate Veterans is not affiliated with any organization, and Whereas the Constitution of the Sons of Confederate Veterans in Article 3.2 regarding Conduct requires that Members shall at all times conduct themselves as gentlemen so as to bring credit and respect upon the Sons of Confederate Veterans and upon the memory of our Confederate forebears, and Whereas the Sons of Confederate Veterans is a gentlemen s organization charged by our forefathers with, among other things, emulating their virtues, and Whereas, except for Jesus Christ himself, the Son of God, no more perfect examples can be found than Robert E. Lee, Thomas J. Jackson, J. E. B. Stuart, et al, whose virtues of gentlemanly character and behavior should be emulated, now, therefore, be it Resolved that on this 14th day of June 2015, the Executive Council of the Virginia Division, Sons of Confederate Veterans does hereby condemn the actions of all other organizations purporting to represent Southern History and the Confederate Soldier, including, but not limited to, the Virginia Flaggers and the Army of Northern Virginia Mechanized Cavalry, which, although they may be well intentioned, nevertheless serve to damage the reputation of the Sons of Confederate Veterans and, indeed, the Confederate Veterans themselves. We, therefore, call on the members of those organizations, especially those who are also members of the SCV, to search their hearts, humble themselves, and cease and desist from all false, negative, petty, rude, damaging, and dishonorable public activities and pronouncements.

Representing the ANVMC: Jefferson Davis Birthday Chaplain Report Matthew 23:13 But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut the kingdom of heaven in people s faces. For you neither enter yourselves nor allow those who would enter to go in. I am in disbelief of the onslaught of attacks against a flag that stood for freedom for EVERYONE from the Despot Tyrant Lincoln, and his murderous military who willingly killed, raped, & burnt an entire society into submission... What makes this worse is some Southern people (and you know who you are, some of you jealous ones probably reading our newsletter) are condemning the actions of those who want to Honor Confederate Veterans...Enjoy your demagogue power for now, your time is short, God will deal with you in time. Shame shall hang around your necks like an albatross, you shall wear your shame in front of your ancestors and God, if you even make it to Heaven, lucky for you God is merciful, and grace, not works has saved those who profess Jesus as their Savior... Peace be with you, Chaplain Boogie
