In 1890 I moved with ny parents to Kingfisher County. We cams in a covered wagon and fanned for a living. The coumtry about there had begun to settle up and there were two churches in our community. The Baptist church and the Presbyterian church and each one mad a very good wooden building* The district schools were also good and the people were progressive. This spring is called Soldier Spring. When we settled on this farm there were two men both up in years who were hunting for the l st. Mine in Danril's Canyon. Hy husband assisted them some and sharp* ened their tools as he had blaeksmlthing tools on the fara. The ataea of these men were Bimer and Harvey. One of them lost his mind and waa. sent to ft>rt Supply and X suppose he is yet there.
