WELCOME SAINTS! SABBATH GREETINGS!

FAITH + WORKS = MIRACLES Kenneth M. Hoeck WWW.TOTW.ORG

Galatians 3:9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. Hebrews 11:8-10 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

James 2:17-18 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

SPIRITUAL EQUATION NO FAITH + NO WORKS = NO MIRACLES NO FAITH + WORKS = NO MIRACLES FAITH + NO WORKS = NO MIRACLES FAITH + WORKS = MIRACLES

It is therefore incontestably the Wright brothers alone who resolved, in its entirety, the problem of human mechanical flight. Men of genius, exact in their reasoning, hard workers, outstanding experimenters, and unselfish. They changed the face of the globe. - Charles Dollfus

Matthew 14:22-25 And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away. And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone. But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary. And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.

Matthew 14:26-28 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.

Matthew 14:29-31 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Psalm 86:7 In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me. Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

James 1:6-8 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Genesis 18:14 Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.

Genesis 12:1-2 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

Romans 4:19-21 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

Romans 16:25-27 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen. <<Written to the Romans from Corinthus, and sent by Phebe servant of the church at Cenchrea.>> 25

GEORGE MUELLER (KJV) Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. FIRST: WHAT IS FAITH? In the simplest manner in which I am able to express it, I answer: Faith is the assurance that the thing which God has said in His Word is true, and that God will act according to what He has said in His Word. This assurance, this reliance on God's Word, this confidence is FAITH. 26

GEORGE MUELLER No impressions are to be taken in connection with faith. Impressions have neither one thing nor the other to do with faith. Faith has to do with the Word of God. It is not impressions, strong or weak, which will make any difference. We have to do with the written Word and not ourselves or our impressions. 27

GEORGE MUELLER Probabilities are not to be taken into account. Many people are willing to believe regarding those things that seem probable to them. Faith has nothing to do with probabilities. The province of faith begins where probabilities cease and sight and sense fail. 28

GEORGE MUELLER A great many of God's children are cast down and lament their want of faith. They write to me and say that they have no impressions, no feeling, they see no probability that the thing they wish will come to pass. Appearances are not to be taken into account. The question is whether God has spoken it in His Word. 29

GEORGE MUELLER And now, my beloved friends, you are in great need to ask yourselves whether you are in the habit of thus confiding, in your inmost soul, in what God has said, and whether you are in earnest in seeking to find whether the thing you want is in accordance with what He has said in His Word. 30

"FAITH is the ASSURANCE that the things which God said in His Word are TRUE! And that God WILL ACT according to what He has said IN HIS WORD. This assurance, this RELIANCE ON GOD'S WORD, this confidence, is FAITH!" That's George Mueller's definition! And it is a true Bible definition. Romans 4:21 -- "And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform." (from the booklet, "What is Faith?" by Herbert W. Armstrong.) 31

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. 33

Please do not go away while we show you this short video message. Hey, Ken stop talking and play the film clip already! We are a (holy) wholly-owned subsidiary of God & Son. 34

Hebrews 10:22-23 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) 35

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 36

Mark 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. 37

Do WE have a vision of doing things differently? Have WE made the decision that it is time to do things differently? Do WE believe that we have the God-given ability to bring change in the area of human faith? Can WE make the decision that WE are the ones to bring the change? Are WE determined to work at exercising our faith in our daily lives until miracles occur? Are WE determined not to give up, no matter what. Are WE ready to do whatever is necessary to achieve our vision?

THANK YOU! FAITH is not just believing God can its knowing and trusting He will. ENJOY THE REST OF THE SABBATH!
