The fireplace is such a major part of Christmas and the holiday season. It s the centerpiece of the main gathering place in your home with stockings hung, beautiful wreathes, and decorations all around. The fireplace gives us heat and warms us up. We make memories around the fire with our families and friends. The Lord has been speaking to us about FIRE! concerning Him. Gathering Around The I can just imagine the shepherds in the field and they are gathered around the fire while watching over their sheep when suddenly an angel appeared. I bring you good news of great joy! Today a savior has been born! He is Christ the Lord! And this will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in swaddling
cloths and lying in a manger. And suddenly there appeared with the angel a great multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying: Glory to God in the highest, peace on earth and good will toward men on whom His favor rests! from Luke Chapter 2. During the holidays, when it is cold outside and you are cuddled up next to the fire, drinking hot chocolate, reading your Bible make sure & spend some time asking God to light you on fire for 2018. When you build a fire you have to have all the right ingredients to build it and to keep it burning. Just like you have to work to keeping the fire going in your fireplace, we need to have FIRE FROM HEAVEN in our hearts, all the time. GET ON FIRE! Keep the fire burning by praying, going to church, using your faith & getting more of HIM! An Encouraging Word from the Lord: Don t wait for someone else to spark the fire in your heart. Get hungry, get desperate and get fired up to be in My presence. I am going to show up at your house. I am going to show up in your family. I am going to show up in your body with healing. I am going to show up in your finances. I am going to show up and visit you at work. My Glory is a consuming fire! Step into my Glory and see miracles happen. It was a pillar of fire that brought them out of Egypt and it is my pillar of fire that will lead you out into the Promised Land. Don t give up hope. It is right before you. Press into Me & spend time with Me. This is your breakthrough time and your glory season GET FIRED UP!
