When you reap harvest of your land, you shall not reap to very edges of your field, or gar gleanings of your harvest. You shall not strip your vineyard bare, or gar fallen grapes of your vineyard; you shall leave m for poor and alien: I am Lord your God. You shall not steal; you shall not deal falsely; and you shall not lie to one anor. And you shall not swear falsely by my name, profaning name of your God: I am Lord. You shall not defraud your neighbor; you shall not steal; and you shall not keep for yourself wages of a laborer until morning. You shall not revile deaf or put a stumbling block before blind; you shall fear your God: I am Lord. You shall not render an unjust judgment; you shall not be partial to poor or defer to great: with justice you shall judge your neighbor. You shall not go around as a slanderer among your people, and you shall not profit by blood of your neighbor: I am Lord. You shall not hate in your heart anyone of your kin; you shall reprove your neighbor, or you will incur guilt yourself. You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against any of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am Lord. Reader Hear what Spirit is saying to God s people. Laying cornerstone of Saint Mark s Cadral, April 28, 1930 reading 1 Corinthians 3:10 11,16 23 A ccording to grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building on it. Each builder must choose with care how to build on it. For no one can lay any foundation or than one that has been laid; that foundation is Jesus Christ. Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God s Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy that person. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple. Do not deceive yourselves. If you think that you are wise in this age, you should become fools so that you may become wise. For wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, and again, He catches wise in ir craftiness, The Lord knows thoughts of wise, that y are futile. So let no one boast about human leaders. For all things are yours, wher Paul or Apollos or Cephas or world or life or death or present or future all belong to you, and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God. Reader Hear what Spirit is saying to God s people. Assembly Thanks be to God. 6

All rise as able. nicene creed prayers of assembly We believe in one God, Far, Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, only Son of God, eternally begotten of Far, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with Far; through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven, was incarnate of Holy Spirit and Virgin Mary and became truly human. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On third day he rose again in accordance with Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at right hand of Far. He will come again in glory to judge living and dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in Holy Spirit, Lord, giver of life, who proceeds from Far, who with Far and Son is worshiped and glorified, who has spoken through prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for forgiveness of sins. We look for resurrection of dead, and life of world to come. Amen. Intercessor Lord, in your mercy, Assembly hear our prayer. The Presider concludes prayers with a collect. All respond: Amen. Authorized for use by 1997 General Convention 8
