prayerfocus 1. Commit to the Lord the mid-year primary and secondary school holidays. May students, teachers and parents find times of rest, refreshing and bonding. 2. Pray for Singapore. May the Lord grant our leaders wisdom to handle the constantly changing political situation around the world. In the midst of diversity and disagreements, may God help us to work together to build a better and more inclusive future for ourselves and for generations to come. 3. Whether the Trump-Kim meeting takes place or not, continue to pray for the denuclearisation of North Korea and for the well-being of its citizens. 4. Pray for Malaysia. As the new government takes shape, pray for stability, the well-being of its people to be taken care of, and the further strengthening of ties with its surrounding neighbours. 5. The recent spate of bombings in Surabaya, attack in Paris, and the fighting in Afghanistan and the Middle-East are just some examples that remind us of the dangerous times we live in and the human suffering caused by injuries, the loss of lives and property. Many have also been forced to flee their homes and live as refugees. Let us pray for more Christians to come forward to comfort and share God s love in word and deed. Let us also uphold our Christian brethren and commit their personal concerns and safety for their family and flock to the Lord.
