Celebrate Kartika Masam At Tri Sakti Peetam, Pen ila Ashram 19 th October to 9 th November 2009
In this human life, dharma is absolutely necessary in order to achieve higher consciousness. Dharma molds your life, fills your life with greater values, and leads you from darkness to light. Dharma completely drives away the darkness from our lives. During Kartika Masam (Oct 19 - Nov 9), worshipping Lord Siva will attract divine blessings for a dharmic life. Every day of this month is precious, and each day is like an auspicious festival for us. Worshipping Lord Siva grants a divine protection that protects us from all evil. If Rahu, Ketu and Sani (Saturn) are not favorable in your birth chart, worshipping Lord Siva during the month of Kartika, especially on the Mondays, will create very positive changes in your life. You can overcome these astrological defects through puja to Lord Siva. For some people, we find that Rahu is in the 6 th house, and Jupiter is in the 1 st, 4 th, 7 th, or 10 th house; such a person is said to have the "Ashta Lakshmi Yoga," and with this configuration, one will be blessed with wealth, health and happiness. However, if anyone performs puja to Lord Siva during Kartika Masam, it is as if that person has Ashta Lakshmi Yoga itself, and this leads to a happy, healthy, and wealthy life.

In addition, water is energized with the vibrations of certain sacred gems as well as saligramas, and this water is also used to worship Lord Siva. These elaborate offerings contribute very pure, positive and auspicious vibrations during the puja. As these offerings are reverently poured over the Siva lingam, Vedic priests are chanting the incredibly powerful Sri Rudra mantras according to every Vedic guideline.
