I am pleased to send you some reports and photographs regarding BGMC funds that we received for children s ministry here in Romania. The first amount of BGMC funds received via the Romanian field was $400, which was spent as follows: 1) $200 was used for the Cheriu Gypsy Cchildren after-school project. This is a project where Gypsy children receive help with their homework after school each day. They also receive Christian teaching, and they learn to play musical instruments. In general, Gypsies are very musical, and music plays a big part in their lives. The idea is that these children can be trained to play musical instruments and be involved in music ministry in the churches. The people involved in the project are extremely dedicated. Our involvement with the Cheriu Gypsy Kids project has been from its inception and involves many facets. 2) $200 was given to Pastor Ioan Bodog, the secretary/treasurer for the Bihor Filiala Pentecostal Union. He used the money to provide materials for the children, some of which can be seen in the photographs of the children with the teacher and back-to-school supplies. The leadership greatly appreciated the investment of BGMC in the Cheriu project as the timing of the money was perfect. They had been without any funding with which to buy the school supplies which were urgently needed. Thanks to BGMC, these children are able to study in the public school system which, without the required notebooks, etc., they would not be able to do. These children are Romania s future. We count it a privilege to be BGMC s hands extended to the children of Romania. Thank you, kids, for giving to BGMC. Every blessing, Sheila and Ian Hall
Greetings from Romania! On behalf of the Eastern European Bible College (EEBC), I would like to thank BGMC for the $2,000 that I received through the Romanian Field Office. The Bible college is located in Oradea, Romania. This money was a tremendous blessing for the Bible school and enabled us to purchase important books for the library, printed in the Romanian language. One student told us that she had to write a book report as an assignment for one of the guest professors, AGWM missionary Everett McKinney. She did not know how she was going to do this. She went to the library and was surprised to find the very book that she needed in Romanian with a label in front of the book stating that the book had been purchased with BGMC funds through the Assemblies of God. She was so happy that she sought out my wife Sheila to express her appreciation to BGMC and the Assemblies of God. Eastern European Bible College has been in existence for 11 years and has an extensive library which is almost entirely in English. Through BGMC, EEBC now has quality books in the Romanian language. I am attaching two photographs, one showing the label in the front of one of the books, and one of two of the students with books in the library. BGMC has blessed the work in Romania in so many ways. BGMC has been a BIG blessing to the Eastern European Bible College (EEBC)! BGMC has helped us with many, many resources and equipment over the years. Recently we received BGMC funds for computer desks for our computer lab. The students really enjoy having these nice desks to study on. The EEBC is training future pastors and future church leaders for Romania. Bible learning is so important. None of this would be possible without your help. Thank you for giving to BGMC! Greetings from Romania! Thank you so much for the BGMC funds that we received. This money was utilized as follows: 1) Purchase of four second-hand computers for Alesd Gypsy School. These computers are a tremendous blessing for the Alesd Gypsy School and are an excellent teaching tool. Gypsies generally do not speak Romanian very well because they have their own language. They learn from visualization, which makes the computers a great asset for the teachers. There are four classrooms which are used for eight classes: four classes in the morning and four different classes in the afternoon. Through BGMC, we were able to provide four computers, one for each classroom. 2) With BGMC funds, we were able to purchase the following Christian education supplies for the Piatra Vii Pentecostal Church, Campulung Muscel, Arges: flannel graphs, flashcards, Bible verse posters, music sheets, missionary stories, teaching manuals, two audio cassette CD players/recorders, CD s children s Christian songs, crayons, pencils, pens, construction paper, notebooks, and Christian coloring books. Attached are photographs of Pastor Filimon Ciurea, the senior pastor and president of the Arges Comunitatea, and his assistant pastor with the purchased and donated supplies. Pastor Ciurea said that the Christian teaching materials and Sunday School supplies will be utilized not only for the Campulung church, but also for its eight daughter churches. He also stated that what they received will last for many years and benefit several generations of students. The Sunday School superintendent stated that what they received was beyond her wildest dreams. They have been teaching Sunday School by improvising and using whatever they had available. But now the children will be more interested to learn because they have such wonderful teaching aids with which to keep their interest. There are approximately 100 children in this church. I was asked to express to BGMC their sincere appreciation for its investment in the children of Romania. The BGMC funds are such a tremendous blessing for the children s ministry here in this part of Romania, and the various churches are so blessed. Thank you, boys and girls, for giving to BGMC! Serving the Lord in Romania, Sheila and Ian Hall
Greetings from Romania! Once more we were blessed to receive BGMC funds, a total of $878.80, with which we were able to purchase quality Sunday School materials in the Romanian language. These will be used in teaching Gypsy and Romanian children stories from the Bible and about the Christian faith. These Sunday School materials will continue to be used for teaching many children throughout the coming years. We set up three libraries of Sunday School teaching materials so that as the teachers change, the materials will be available to their successors. None of the three groups for whom we bought the Sunday School supplies had any teaching materials in the Romanian language. They didn t even know where to obtain them. Even if they had known where to obtain these materials, they could not have afforded them. These teaching aids will be used for many years, and hundreds of boys and girls will have the opportunity of learning through their teachers, who now have quality materials to help them teach. I am pleased to send you photographs and three thank you letters one from each of the three groups that benefited from BGMC funds. Thank you, BGMC, for your investment in the children of Transilvania, Romania. May God bless each one of you. Ian & Sheila Hall Assemblies of God
Thank you for giving to BGMC. BGMC money was approved by the Romanian Field for the purchase of DVD educational materials in the Romanian language for Samaria Gypsy Christian Kindergarten in Alesd, Romania. We, together with two of the teachers, went shopping on Monday of this week to purchase these materials. These teachers were so thrilled to be able to choose quality educational materials for the children. Because the value of the dollar was up, we were also able to purchase some educational CDs in the Romanian language. Attached is a photo of the teachers with the materials purchased with BGMC funds. Thank you, BGMC! Every blessing, Sheila & Ian Hall

Thanks so much for the money received from BGMC. Through it, the Elim Evangelical Theological Seminary in Timisoara, Romania, was able to purchase Library World, a software package for the EETS library. This was a tremendous blessing. The software is installed and the cataloging of the books in the library is underway by EETS staff Dorina Tarau and Simona Guler. We are grateful to each boy and girl who gave to BGMC and for the great job they are doing in raising money to help missionaries like us to purchase such valuable books for our Bible school. Keep up the great work, and great will be your reward. Blessings, Ian and Sheila Hall
