Good Morning and Welcome! Prayer before worship: O Lord, you set all things in order and through your holy Word you establish order in our lives and faith in our hearts. By that same Holy Spirit guide us in thought, word and deed, so that we would live a noble life, in service to you and others, in Jesus' name. Amen. This Week s Prayer List remember these in prayer: We pray for a portion of Zion s family and friends Wayne and Betty Klaustermeier; Kyle Klaustermeier; Darell and Barb Knorr; Darcy and Mary Kroells; Bryce Kroells; Neal Kroells; and Henry Krueger. We pray for those under the care of a physician, undergoing treatment and therapy; for all difficulties meeting obligations, and a strong faith for every need. A Big Thank You to everyone who helped us celebrate our 65 th wedding anniversary. A special thank-you to the Ladies Aid for hosting the cake and coffee reception. We are so grateful to be a part of this wonderful congregation! -Arnold and Barbara Scholz and family Leah s Office will be Closed the week of July 15 th and July 29 th, so my office will be closed those weeks as well. Pastor s office will be open during this time. Bring Kids to Zion! Suggest to others that they send their children to Zion School. Great student-to-teacher ratio makes for great learning opportunity, along with familiarity with the Bible and growth in faith. VBS Updates: VBS is right around the corner. Please RSVP to Mrs. Rodman or Mrs. Morschen if you would like to register a child or volunteer for our upcoming week of fun. There are also a couple donation requests left. If you would like to help out, pull a sticky note from the big VBS banner in the narthex. Thanks! Thanks! To all who send words of encouragement and support to those who are in need; thanks to those who put their faith and love into action! It brings hope!

In the current school year students from Vietnam, Liberia, South Korea, and Spain have been part of the Mayer Lutheran Family. As we look to the new school year we need new host families to come forward. Opportunities for next year: 2 students from China, 2 students from Spain, and anticipated opportunities with to bring in students from South Korea.
