MINISTRIES 4/18/2016 1

Dear Members and Friends, I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As you know, Fifth Baptist is a praying, preaching, and teaching church. God has blessed us with loving Christians to whom diverse gifts and talents have been given. 1 Peter 4:10-11 says, Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God s grace in its various forms. 11 If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. I encourage you to use your God given gifts and talents for His glory and in service to this church body. Please see a current list of our ministries. Select the ministry of your choice and one that is best suited to your gift, contact the leader, become active in the ministry, and be ready for a blessing. If you do not see a ministry of interest to you, and you wish to initiate a new ministry, complete the form at the end of this package. Give the form to a member of the Board of Christian Education, or turn it in to the church office. God can use each of us in His service for the uplifting of his kingdom. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Earl M. Brown, Pastor Ricardo L. Brown, Pastor 2
