Vespers for All Souls in Remembrance of the Homeless November 5, 2017 six o clock in the evening As the 6 o clock hour nears, silence is kept. The service begins with the tolling of a bell. The bell is tolled in remembrance of those in this faith community and in the Inter-Faith Council who died over the past year. The votives placed upon the Communion Table serve as a memorial to those whom we love and who rejoice with us, but upon another shore and in a greater light. Here God will suddenly remove the cloud of sorrow that has been hanging over all the nations. The Sovereign Lord will destroy death forever!
