Philippians 4:13 New King James I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. The danger of contentment The danger of contentment with status quo in our Christian life, could be that we see ourselves as already possessing influence and respect, why should we want to keep growing? The answer is simple. 1. Your growth determines who you are. 2. Who you are determines who you attract. 3. Who you attract determines the success of your Churches growth. If we want to grow our Church, we have to remain teachable. When we were kids, we would sometimes see signs at feed mills that said. If you don t like the crop you are reaping, check the seed you are sowing. Though the sign was an ad for seeds, it contained a wonderful principle. What kind of crops are we reaping? Does your life and Christian walk with God seem to be getting better day after day, month after month, year after year? Or are we constantly fighting just to hold our ground? If we are not where we hoped to be by this time in our life, maybe the problem could be a lack of teach-ability. Dear God, help me in this area of teach-ability, we are never too old or young to continue the growth process, one day at a time. Cathy Clutter Summer is coming!
