Arent talk: devehming a in worldview As we finish our study of The Cross, we are seeing another important part of the abundant life that Jesus describes: a life of service. As believers in Christ who are submissive to God's will for our lives in Lordship and devotion, we will find ourselves compelled to serve. Jesus Christ is our example, and it was His desire to model servanthood for us (John 13:3-15). He said He did not come to be served but to serve others. It would be a serious oversight for a believer in Christ to bypass this very important step in spiritual growth. We are called to lay down our lives in acts of worship and service for Jesus Christ. He expresses Himself through us as we serve and do ministry for Him. As we put others first, we begin to see the kingdom of God from a different perspective. Christ lives through us and empowers us to touch and change lives. People and individuals are drawn to Him because of the love that is exemplified through our lives. There is a natural draw to a person with genuine love and concern for others. Their faith becomes real, and they experience true joy. MEMORY VERSE: Have your child quote Matthew 20:27. REVIEW: 1.
