A to Z Guide for Saint Mary s Athletics and McKeon Pavilion A Alcohol Policy o Saint Mary s College (SMC) utilizes strategy from T.E.A.M., (Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management) to protect the integrity of our fans and facilities. The sale of alcoholic beverages is prohibited in any SMC athletic facility. No alcohol is permitted in the parking lots of SMC. No alcohol is permitted to enter or leave an SMC athletic facility. Every person entering McKeon Pavilion is subject to a Department of Public Safety or Game Day Staff search for alcohol. Any impaired or intoxicated fan may be asked to leave the premise by Game Day staff or the Department of Public Safety and forfeit valid ticket for the event. Animals o The only animals allowed into an SMC Athletic Facility are certified service animals. Owners must have appropriate certification in their possession. Service animals in training will not be permitted to enter the Stadium unless they are authorized by the TBA. Artificial Noisemakers o The only artificial noisemakers allowed at all contests shall be the instruments of official band members. Any other artificial noisemakers are subject to confiscation. Autographs o Free autographs are available during selected Special Events. Spectators may not harass or disrupt any student-athlete for an autograph. Automatic Teller Machines (ATM s) o An ATM is located in the central part of the Saint Mary s campus in LeFevre Quad. B Banners and Signs o The Department of Athletics and Recreational Sports reserves the right to remove any banners or signs at any time. Banners and signs may be brought into an SMC Athletic Facility as long as: They do not obstruct the view of other fans They do not cover existing signage They are not in poor taste They are not commercial in nature They are not paraded throughout the facility Broadcast Information o KDIA 1640 am with Mike Bouve
o SMCGaels.com with Mike Bouve (men s basketball games) and Skip Powers (women s basketball and select baseball games) o Television broadcasts are subject to schedule and availability C D Cameras and video recorders o No flash photography is permitted inside McKeon Pavilion. Personal video recorders are not permitted at anytime inside McKeon Pavilion. Cancelled Events o In the event of a cancelled event, valid tickets may be exchanged for a ticket of equal or lesser value for a similar future event at McKeon Pavilion. Instructions will be posted on how to exchange tickets. Carry-In Items o All carry-in items may be subject to search by the Department of Public Safety or Game Day Staff, regardless of size. No cans, weapons, glass containers or alcohol are allowed into the Stadium at any time. No hardsided coolers of any size are permitted. Diaper bags are permitted in regardless of size, for guests accompanied by their babies. Strollers must be small enough to keep out of walkways and aisles. Cellular Phones o Cellular phones are allowed as long as they do not distract any spectator. Failure to comply may result in being asked to check the phone with Game Personnel. Code of Conduct o TBA Community/External Relations o The SMC Athletics Marketing and External Relations team handles all requests for auction items, community service, donations, and speakers. A request must be submitted in writing on the organization's letterhead. The letter should include a contact person's name, phone number, tax id number and a deadline for response. Disabled Services o If special services are needed before, during or after an event, please contact the Ticket Office at (925) 631-4392. o Disabled parking stalls are available to valid placard holders in the Soda Center lot, adjacent to McKeon Pavilion. o Please contact the Ticket Office at (925) 631-4392 if Wheelchair Accessible Seating is required. o For day of game assistance or questions regarding our disability services while at the Stadium, please feel free to ask a Game Day staff member. O P Parking o Parking for all SMC home events is on a first come first serve basis. During the week, Monday through Friday 8:00 am 5:00 pm, visitors must park in a Visitor lot, denoted with a V. Handicap parking is available in marked stalls throughout campus. For events in Saint Mary s Stadium, parking on Stadium Way is prohibited. For basketball events in McKeon Pavilion, parking in the Soda Center Lots will be monitored. Only those with valid handicap placards or Priority Parking Permits will be allowed, subject to availability. Will Call o Tickets may be left at will call for all basketball events in McKeon Pavilion. Will call follows the gate-opening schedule. Guests using will call must present a valid photo identification to claim tickets. Guests without an ID will not be allowed entry into McKeon Pavilion. o Will call is located in the front of McKeon Pavilion and will be clearly labeled. The will call line wait may be long, so if at all possible please secure your tickets prior to arriving at McKeon Pavilion. When purchasing tickets online, please print them to avoid waiting in line.
