An angel of God had rolled away the stone and sat upon it 28:2b a) The angel's appearance was like lightening 28:3 b) The guards shook with fear and became like dead men 28:4 4. The angel tells the women of Christ's resurrection 28:5-6 5. The angel informs the women to go tell the disciples 28:7 6. The women leave the tomb to tell the disciples 28:8 7. Jesus greets the women 28:9a 8. The women worship Jesus 28:9b 9. Jesus instructs the women to tell the disciples to go to Galilee to meet Him 28:10 B. The guards report to the priests what happened 28:11-15 1. The priests counsel together regarding the report 28:12 2. The soldiers are bribed to lie about the resurrection 28:13 3.
