69th Sisters of Unity Convention May 16 th 20 th 2018 We are Holy Women Greeting Sisters! After demonstrating how we can be Women of Faith last year, this year we thought it would be fitting to portray some of characteristics of a Holy Woman such as modest, obedient, discreet a woman who builds her home. Each night, a piece of wisdom will be offered to you through the following topics: Raising Children with Faith, Submitting to God s Will, Getting My House in Order, and Being a Light. Our prayer is that every sister leaves this convention aspiring to obtain and embody the characteristics of a Holy Woman. The Purpose of the Scholarship: The purpose of the Mozelle Jeffries Woman of Excellence Scholarship Award is to provide each recipient with the opportunity to further her education by either obtaining a diploma in trade, an associate s degree, or bachelor s degree from an accredited institution. Recipients are expected to use their learned skills to enhance the body of Christ. The preferred recipient of the Woman of Excellence Scholarship Award will be a faithful, devoted and involved member of the True Church of God in Christ who is high achieving, selfmotivated, and aspires to obtain a higher level of education in order to realize her full potential.
