REV. GREGORY COATES Gregory Coates is the 11 th child of Leander E. Coates, and Orelie Coates. In May of 1989 he married Alisha Williams and together they are the parents of Talisha, Leandereia, and Gregory II. Pastor Coates was educated in the school system of East Baton Rouge Parish and is a graduate of Capitol Senior High School class of 1987. He received a Bachelor s Degree in 2012 from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a Master s Degree from Louisiana College in Pineville, Louisiana in May of 2014. He is also currently attending New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary pursuing a Master s of Divinity in Expository Preaching. He is also pursuing a Doctorate of Theology at Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camilla, Georgia. In 1996 Pastor Coates became the 5 th pastor of St. John The Baptist Church of Dorseyville, Louisiana. Pastor Coates is also the founding Pastor of the Of The Way Bible Church. Pastor Coates is always striving toward the mark of the high call which is in Christ Jesus. It is his desire to be as thoroughly equipped as possible to fulfill his calling as a Pastor/Teacher for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry to the glory of God.
