Pastoral Logic Harriet Tubman said, I think slavery is the next thing to hell. If a person would send another into bondage, he would, it appears to me, be bad enough to send him into hell if he could. But I ask, what kind of fool sends himself into slavery and then to hell as well?! Read again Romans 6:16. Women s Ministry Fall Event Ladies, please join us on Sabbath, December 2 nd when Donna Griffith will be speaking on the Traps of Satan at 4:00 PM at the Better Living Center. Please bring finger foods to share and join in our program. Christmas Social The Growing! & Going! Committee invites you to an all-church Christmas Social on Saturday December 9 th starting at 6:00 PM. We will gather in the Better Living Center to enjoy a light and healthy meal, sing Christmas carols, fellowship and be blessed with a short presentation relevant to the holiday season by Pastor Byrd. Youth Vespers Medford SDA Church Pastor Michael Brackett will be the guest speaker at a special youth fellowship program on Friday, December 15 th at the Better Living Center. Watch for inserts in upcoming bulletins for more information. First Responders Platters The Women s Ministry is now collecting cookies and candies for our First Responders Platters. These platters will be given to Police Officers, AMR, and Fire Department personnel as a community thank you. Adventist Community Services (Dorcas) Many in the community of Grants Pass are blessed with food and clothing that are distributed from our center. Volunteers are needed to serve in the operation of various stations. It would be greatly appreciated if you could give of your time. We could also use plastic grocery bags, blankets, tents and sleeping bags. Please call Larry Sample at 541-660-9088. Thank you! Faith House Wreath Program It s time to support Faith House once again! ACS fulfills Christ s mission to reach people by coordinating education and services for senior citizens, equipping youth to help others through Young Adults Emergency Services (YES!), and more. New items at the Veggie Food Store Loma Blue Loma Linda has introduced a new line of food products with healthier ingredients! They now have a variety of complete meal solutions as well as several canned products that are non-gmo, vegan, and contain no food dyes. Several gluten-free items are available as well. Look for the blue labels at the School s Veggie Food Store. Hours on Tuesdays are from noon to 4:00 PM and on Thursdays from 3:00 6:00 PM. Remember that all profits are used to fund student scholarships. Media Ministry Our church features a media ministry, so please be aware that our 10:50 AM service is recorded for viewing via television, internet, and is streamed live. Please note that anyone participating, including children during Children s Story, will be recorded.
