Teaching the concept of total body safety has become the latest practice. It is important for children to understand that their entire body is private. Parents should be watchful of adults who might be grooming a child by constantly tickling, kissing or hugging them. It is important to listen to a child and respect their wishes if they do not want to hug or kiss someone.
