Priorities and Money Matthew 6:19 24
Matt. 6:1, Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. Matt. 6:2, Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. Matt. 6:3, But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, Matt. 6:4, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.
Col. 3:5, Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
Luke 12:13, Then one from the crowd said to Him, Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me. Luke 12:14, But He said to him, Man, who made Me a judge or an arbitrator over you? Luke 12:15, And He said to them, Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.
Matt. 6:19, Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; Matt. 6:20, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. Matt. 6:21, For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matt. 6:22, The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. Matt. 6:23, But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness Matt. 6:24 No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

Whoever has a good eye, a humble spirit and a modest soul is a disciple of Abraham our father who enjoys this world and inherits the world. Mishnah, Avot, 5:19
