Dr. Jones will be leading the study and discussion based on the book What is the Bible? How an Ancient Library of Poems, Letters, and Stories Can Transform the Way You Think and Feel About Everything, which was written by Rob Bell. Depending upon attendance, the location of meeting will be in classroom behind the Fellowship Hall Kitchen or in the Fellowship Hall. If you wish to make others happy and bring joy to those who appreciate your ministry, please consider joining in the monthly singing at Fountain Nursing Home. The singers will sing traditional hymns on June 19 th at 10:30 a.m. and will sing about 30-minutes. Whether you are a trained voice or a maker of joyful noise, all are welcome and encouraged to attend. BY JUNE 17 ~ NOTES OF ENCOURAGEMENT AND APPRECIATION We at FIPC believe all members can and should be an intricate partner in Missions of the church. While we all can t travel and actively participate, we CAN be supportive of those making these special journeys. Notes of encouragement, prayers and appreciation need to be prepared and submitted to those who will be participating in the Praying Pelican Mission Team in Puerto Rico in late-june. Those being commissioned for this mission trip are: Miller Clement, Lucas Conti, Bonner Elmore, Colin Elmore, Grace Harshbarger, Hannon Lang, Torre Mayfield, Sarah Phillips, Hudson Ricard, Wil Weinel, Maddie Williams, Grant Lawter, Zack Sierputowski, Jessica Simon, Ryan Conti, Daniel Elmore, Patrice Elmore and Beth Phillips. There are marked baskets in the rear Narthex where you may place your notes of well-wishes. The commissioning service of the missions team will be during worship on June 17 th, they team will leave on June 22 nd and return on June 29 th.

JUNE ~ AUGUST 26 ~ COMBINED ADULT Christian Education Division is sponsoring Combined Sunday School Class June through August 26; then returning to the individual classes. The classes will be held in the classroom directly behind the Fellowship Kitchen and will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. Other than July 1 & July 8 (guest minister or FIPC-teacher will teach these two dates), Dr. Jones will be leading the study of Presbyterian 101 and presenting very interesting historical background of The Church and leading into Presbyterian history. We encourage everyone to attend. Presbyterian 101 ~ June Classes ~ Teacher: Dr. Chris Jones June 17 ~ The Fork in the Tree Climbing higher in the family tree. The Great Schism of 1050. CHILDREN S SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL Following the same schedule as the Adult Sunday School Classes, the Children of FIPC will also be in a combined format and being coordinated by Joan Jones.

NURSERY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!! Nursery Director, Amanda Phillips, will be on maternity leave; therefore we need Nursery Workers for June and July.
