Noah God had made a beautiful world, but things had started to go wrong People didn t live together happily and they were cruel to each other But Noah was different Noah listened to God God told Noah to build an ark a huge boat to keep him safe when the flood covered the earth Noah did exactly what God told him to do He built the ark, then chose two of every kind of animal and put them in the ark with his family Can you draw a line between each pair of animals? Abraham How to make a family chain Abraham was a man who believed what God told him One day God told Abraham to leave his home He was to take all his family and all his sheep and goats God didn t tell him where he was going until he got there! But Abraham listened to God and did just what he asked God also told Abraham that he would have as many children and grandchildren and greatgrandchildren as there were stars in the sky! Abraham believed God Sure enough, his wife Sarah had a baby boy called Isaac Both Abraham and Sarah were very old when Isaac was born They called him Isaac, because it means laughter! There are ten differences between these two pictures Draw a circle round each one you can find 1 Draw boxes side by side, one box for each person in your family 2 Fold the paper along the vertical lines as shown in the picture 2 3 Cut out a person shape through all the folds of paper 3 1 Colour in the stars in the sky Count how many there are families and friends the night sky Thank God for making so many stars 4 Open out the paper and draw on faces and clothes 4 If you want you can stick on new clothes or faces 6 7
