SAC Level 2 - Chakras Foot Chakra What are Chakras? Chakras are energy centers and vortexes throughout your body. They manage the flow of energy for various aspects of your emotional life, your physical health, your relationship dynamics, your career success, your spiritual connection, your creative flow and your overall sense of well being. When your Chakras are healthy and thriving, your life flows with a relaxed invigoration and you feel aligned with your unique path and purpose and you have the energy to follow through on your clear dreams with joy while feeling an abundance of love and support along the way. When your Chakras are closed, blocked or energetically dented in some way, you'll feel the effects dramatically in our life. For example: If your Root Chakra is closed you'll experience a disconnection from your family and tribal community. You ll most likely struggle financially and you'll feel a deep sense of isolated insecurity with an undertone of survival threat. Not fun! It is such powerful work to become conscious of your Chakras and learn how to decode their language and support them to align with your Highest Vision for your life, career and relationships. Foot Chakra Your Foot Chakra is located on the soles of your feet. It is the floor of your Root Chakra and acts as a grounding pad for your spirit to anchor into the earth and claim your space on this planet. When your Foot Chakra is healthy and thriving, you'll feel grounded and empowered to be alive on this Planet. You'll feel connected to the earth at a primal level. Through your empowered earth connection you'll have a sense of gravity that will enable you to manifest and attract incredible things in your life. When your Foot Chakra is closed, blocked or energetically dented you'll feel ungrounded, disconnected from Earth, as if like an Alien visiting here. Your manifesting powers will be weak because you'll have no gravity to attract things to you. You'll feel like life is hard because you'll be pushing through most actions and experiences. 1. Intention What is your current Intention for your whole Soul Art Chakra Journey? Rewrite your Intention to include your Foot Chakra and make this Soul Art journey specific to your Foot Chakra. For example: If you current Intention is "I am blissfully alive and thriving with health", here is a simple way to make it specific to your Foot Chakra: "I am healing, aligning and empowering my Foot Chakra to support me to be blissfully alive and thriving with health." 2. Bodymapping~ Connect with your Foot Chakra The purpose of Step 2 in the Soul Art process is to make the connection with you and your body so you can own your experience and recognize that what is being expressed through you truly is a reflection of you. Our Chakras are invisible but they do localize in specific areas. Your Foot Chakra is located on the soles of your feet. I love tracing my feet, in traditional bodymapping style, when working with the Foot Chakra. This gives me a clear starting point for the Soul Art and anchors the space. You can get creative with this. In order to do this step you'll need to decide what kind of art medium and supplies you would like to use and then find a creative way to mark the soles of your feet on the surface you choose to work with. Here are some examples for powerful Foot Chakra mediums: -Tracing your feet on paper, fabric or canvas -Walking in nature and marking a space with your footprints -using old shoes as a base for your Soul Art. Creative Expression As we move deeper into the Soul Art Certification process you'll have the opportunity to play with all kinds of Creativity Doors, windows, portals and vortexes to activate your creative flow. You can use the Creativity Doors we've already explored in Level 1 Bodymapping or begin exploring and inventing your own. The Creativity Door I used to express my Foot Chakra: I envisioned a giant mandala-like landing pad. I traced my foot to mark the space for my landing pad. I then wrote all over the landing pad describing qualities of the kind of life I wanted to claim for myself and all the areas where I wanted to receive deeper levels of support. I then started creating on top of this landing pad using various art supplies such as cut paper, wool, pom-poms, sticks, crystals, pine cones, and other earth elements. I layered all my supplies to create a mandala/landing pad to represent my Foot Chakra. What medium(s) would you like to use to express your Foot Chakra?
