The Roberdel Proclaimer Reaching Believing Connecting August, 2012 Roberdel Church Family, Well, we're in the middle or just beyond the middle of summer and it is hot. However, God has been good to give us more rain than we are accustom to at this time of the year. Rain helps us remain green and flourishing, not so dry and brittle. So, thank God for the rain. Rev. Daryl Wrape Interim Pastor I've been blessed leading you in worship. I'm sure that it is difficult for you as a church body to have to get accustom to a new pastor and then to lose some of your dearest members (all are dear) is doubly difficult; all in such a short time. Our relationships here are so short, but never forget, we are marching to Zion, the beautiful city of God, where we shall be like HIM, and we shall forever be with HIM. We are pilgrims and strangers, sojourners in this life, we should not put our tent pegs in too deep, it makes for a difficult exodus. This is not our final destination. I pray that this is your hope and not your fear. Well, if HE tarries, and while HE tarries, then what is our aim? What is our purpose until? Until Jesus comes, until RBC finds a Senior Pastor, until RBC finds a Youth Pastor, until we leave. My prayer is that we won't wander aimlessly, but have real valid biblical purpose for our individual lives as well as our church family. I hope that each of us will be spiritually disciplined, seeking HIS will for our lives through HIS Word bathed in much prayer and confession of sin. I am excited about the future. There are opportunities on the horizon for all of us. Let's find out what Jesus is up to each day of our lives and participate with HIM in seeking the lost! Rev. Daryl Wrape God Bless You! - Psalm 37:4 WMU Corner Carmen Hadinger Exciting news. The V.B.S. kids and adults raised $866 for three mission projects. House to be built in Keya through the NC Baptist Men s Houses of Hope program Go Tell Crusade Church planting for Tim Lavinder Also the GA s & RA s worked together to help make 17 parachutes this spring to mail to Voices of the Martyrs. These parachutes will be used to drop Bibles in the hard to reach areas of the jungles of Colombia, South America to share the message of Jesus Christ. Please pray for souls to be saved in Kenya, Colombia, Richmond County and Virginia through these endeavors!

Thank You The family of Jimmy Liles acknowledges with grateful appreciation your kind expression of sympathy. Thank you so much for the beautiful flowers and for providing the delicious meal for our family following the funeral. Words can t express how grateful we are for your help! Love, Faye, Wayne & Teddy Thank You Thank you Jennipher Love, Logan McKenzie, Mrs. Bertie, Sara Jane and all the members who cooked food for our family for my mother s passing. We truly feel blessed to have a such a loving Church Family. Alanna Young Thank You Dear RBC family, my family and I would like to say thank you for the prayers, cards and food you have given during my wife's recovery. I also wanted to thank you for the kind welcome you have given me as I have come back, after many years, to work with the youth of the church. We still meet night at 6pm and we are going through the book of James. Wednesday night is youth worship, 6:30pm - 8pm, lead by Walt Wood and CJ James on the drums. Our study on Wednesday is our relationship with Jesus Christ and how to share Him with others. Continue to pray for the many ministries here at RBC and continue to Reach, Believe and to Connect. To the glory of God, Jason Moore In Memory Of Ida McNeill & Jimmy Liles The M.E.R.E Mission Group gave a donation In Memory Of Jimmy Liles & Ida McNeil to the General Fund & GA s. The survey is available on the communion table and you may leave the completed survey on the shelf in the hallway. Radical DVD Study during S.S. Through public profession of Faith in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and following Him in Believers Baptism by emersion. 2. You may transfer your Letter of Membership from another Baptist Church. 3. You may join by Statement. An example might be: you were baptized as a believer in a Baptist church and later joined a Methodist church. In such case you would not be able to transfer a letter from another Baptist church. At the conclusion of each Worship Service an invitation will be given. Regardless of the ministers specific invitation there is always a general invitation and you may respond to one of the Pastors sharing your decision with them.
