To schedule a Private Consultation with Karma Rinpoche during his February/March 2018 California visit, please call Kay Luthi (707.287.1506) or email kayluthi@gmail.com. ANIMAL BLESSING Rinpoche performs blessings for the general health and well-being of the animal(s), as well as divinations, mantras and salves for sick or wounded animals. ~ A suggested offering of $20 $50 is appreciated. BUDDHA STATUE CONSECRATION According to Buddhism, it is important to fill one s statue or shrine with relics of sacred places and holy masters, mantras, incense, special herbs, and personal items such as precious stones or jewelry. These objects are placed into the statue with special attention from the Rinpoche. The end result is an authentic aura about the statue which is very beneficial to those who enter the shrine space. This process empowers the statue. A $30 to $60 donation is suggested for filling statues the size of a palm or smaller; $100-$200 is suggested for filling larger statues. Larger donations are suggested for statues larger than a foot in height due to a significant increase in the cost of filling materials. If your statue is too large to mail, you may invite the Rinpoche to its location for the consecration. Please contact us with details. DIVINATIONS In addition to a general divination (available through DMC Longmont shop), you may wish to seek council with a specific question or goal in mind. For example, Should I quit my job? or Why am I frequently sick in my stomach? After stating your concern, Rinpoche uses meditation, his mala, dice (if indicated), and consults special prayer books and Tibetan Astrological Charts. A response is given and, if necessary, remedies are suggested. The individual then can take appropriate actions or remedies. An advantage to in-person divinations is that Rinpoche will perform the remedies on the spot. A donation of $50 is suggested for a 30 minute session. EVENTS, PUJA, AND CEREMONIES Upon request, the Rinpoche will perform various ceremonies, rituals, and teachings in your locality. Special occasions, such as weddings and funerals, are best accompanied by fire ceremonies. Consecration of spiritual buildings or altars must be preceded by ceremonial dance, such as the Black Hat Dance. FIRE CEREMONY SPONSORSHIP The cost for sponsoring a fire ceremony is $200. These funds cover medicines to offer the fire and to benefit sentient beings in all realms, both seen and unseen. Sponsoring a fire ceremony brings great blessings to the individual and family. HOLY WATER & BLESSED SALVE Through a special ceremony, clarified ghee butter or water is infused with the power of healing mantras. The water may be drunk to pacify sickness, such as common colds, or to cleanse one energetically. The ghee may be used cosmetically for skin diseases, wounds, or bodily aches and pains. Upon purchasing these items, you will also be given special instructions on how to properly use them. Mantra ghee is $20 for one 8 oz. jar. Holy water is $5 for small bottles and $10 for large bottles. All are available for purchase at our physical location, though we may be able to ship these items if need be. Rinpoche infuses the clarified butter with many mantras (prayers). The salve is used for skin diseases, wounds or body pain. Fee $20 HOUSE & BUSINESS BLESSINGS Rinpoche performs prayer ceremonies and offerings for clearing negativity or bringing blessings to a new home or business. People in consecrated places are less likely to suffer from theft, misunderstandings, and sickness. Page 1 of 2

A donation of $100 to $300 is suggested for a 2 hour session. *Outside city limit there is a.55 per mile fee and a $25 fee for travel time up to one hour. MANTRA & STONE HEALING Mantras are sacred sound vibrations that invoke the spirits of healing deities, who may impart the individual with healing. Rinpoche then uses a special mala, prayer beads empowered with healing mantras, which touches part of the body needing healing. Medicinal stones may also be placed on the troubled area of the body which assists in healing bone, joint, and skin problems. This is especially helpful for karmic diseases. These are not easily treated or cured by traditional medicine and originate from one s own karmic actions. A donation of $50 is suggested for a 30-45 minute session. PRAYER CEREMONY FOR LIVING & DEAD Rinpoche performs a special prayer ceremony for those who have lost a loved one and to help the deceased in their transition. This ceremony guides a deceased person through the transition in the bardo, lessening their suffering, and helps to guide them toward a fortunate rebirth. Prayers are also made to benefit the surviving family during their time of loss. These ceremonies are traditionally done for 48 days, which is the needed time for the consciousness to make the transition. Ceremonies may also be performed for 1 day, 7 days, or 21 days. It is best to perform this ceremony within 7 days of death. A donation of $100 to $300 is suggested per day. As an alternative to this ceremony, or to supplement it, you may also consider sponsoring a Chenrezig Fire Ceremony within 48 days of death. This is one of the strongest ceremonies that can be performed and benefits beings that have passed all over the region and world. REFUGE CEREMONY Taking refuge with a Rinpoche is the process of officially becoming his student thereby entering into a teacher-student relationship. Refuge represents reliance on the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha for guidance on the path to enlightenment. Refuge helps to empower your meditation and spiritual practices. A donation of $50 is suggested though Rinpoche is still happy to offer this ceremony free of charge. RILBU PRECIOUS MEDICINAL PILLS Rilbu contains tremendous blessings and can be used by people of all faiths as a means of purification from karma by clearing physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual obscurations. If a dying person is given Rilbu, they will have a peaceful transition. If an animal is suffering, Rilbu will ease them as well. These jewel pills were made by Ven. Lama Renzin, a high lama of Chimithankha Monastery in Bhutan. Many of the unusual ingredients used in the Rilbu are 2500 years old, and have been saved in monasteries across Bhutan for use at this time of great suffering. The pills were meticulously handmade according to Buddhist scriptures and consecrated by the monks of Chimithankha Monastery. All monies generated through the donation for these precious pills will go directly to restoring and rebuilding the Chimithankha Monastery in Thimphu, which was damaged by earthquake and fire. Great benefit will be given and received, not only by taking the Rilbu, but also through your generosity to the Monastery.
