The Old Testament follows the slow but sure progress of God s covenant with Abraham. You ll witness God s chosen servants exhibiting both abiding faith and astounding folly. The Lord remains steadfast through it all, laying the foundations for the people of God the descendants that Abraham thought he d never have. Meanwhile, in the New Testament, Jesus teaches us in the Ser on the Mount how to love God and each other. He then puts his love into practice by healing the sick and working amazing miracles.
