The Victorious Vessel Happy Father s Day Vol. 18 Issue 6 - June 2018
FROM THE PASTOR'S PRINTER June is the month wherein we celebrate fathers and fatherhood. F a t h e r s f u l f i l l a n important and necessary role for the family, for the children, for society, and for the church! Each son learns from his father principles of manhood and how to treat the leading lady in his life. Each daughter learns from her father what the love of a man feels like. Without question every child needs his or her father involved in that child s life. As we celebrate fathers on the third Sunday, take the time to celebrate your father or fatherhood figure. Let us also remember that God is the ultimate example of Fatherhood for all of us. God loves us like no other. June is also the month for Vacation Bible School (VBS). I strongly encourage each member to register and attend the weeklong study. One c a n n o t g o w r o n g learning more of and more from the Word of God! Thank God for the hard work of Sisters Geneva B. Robinson and Shana W. Middleton for their combined efforts giving leadership to this vital ministry! We also owe a great debt of gratitude to all of the teachers, staff, culinary ministry team, and laborers who often work w i t h o u t f a n f a r e o r notoriety! Congratulations to all of you graduates! You have completed a major chapter in your life. We celebrate with you! For t h o s e H i g h S c h o o l g r a d u a t e s, w e a r e praying that your next steps include attending a college or university to further hone your skills and to gain invaluable educational experiences on the way to your divine destiny. For those who may choose the military or other areas for the next move, we pray that the Lord leads y o u t o t h a t p l a c e, through that place, and on to a great career. Know that each of you is supported by a praying church family that loves you! Be reminded that we have strong faith in a GOD WHO has ALL power in HIS HANDS! #IAmMSBC153 #warmestchurchincharleston 2

It is the most common spinal deformity. In the vast majority of cases, scoliosis has no identifiable cause this is termed idiopathic scoliosis. It usually starts between the ages of 10 to 15, though it is also possible to have scoliosis as an infant or to develop scoliosis as an adult. Scoliosis has an emotional component; it is not simply a physical condition, or just a little curve in the spine. According to a study conducted by the University of Minnesota, people with scoliosis can be more prone to depression, substance abuse, suicidal thoughts, and negative self-image.
