TORAH, GOD'S INSTRUCTIONS DEUTERONOMY 33 MOSES BLESSES ALL THE TRIBES BEFORE HIS DEATH Say Welcome to Sabbath School class. Let s bow our head and ask God for understanding as we study the book of Deuteronomy. Deuteronomy 33 Say Moses blesses all the tribes of Israel before his death. 1 And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death (Some were fulfilled; there will be others for the end time or Day of The Lord.). 2 And he said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir (Territory of Edom because of future prophecy.) unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them (The Path of God.) (The Bible tells us 17 And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount (Moses is bringing the Bride down the isle to meet the Bridegroom; the one who became Jesus.). 18 And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly. 19 And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice. 20 And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the LORD called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up. 21 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish. 22 And let the priests also, which come near to the LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break forth upon them. 23 And Moses said unto the LORD, The people cannot come up to mount Sinai: for thou chargedst us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it. 24And the LORD said unto him, Away, get thee down, and thou shalt come up, thou, and Aaron with thee: but let not the priests and the people break through to come up unto the LORD, lest he break forth upon them. 25 So Moses went down unto the people, and spake unto them (Moses told them a 2 nd time; trying to teach obedience to God s Law.) Exodus 19:17-25). (The Bible tells us 4 LORD, when thou wentest out of Seir, when thou marchedst out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, and the heavens dropped, the clouds also dropped water. 5 The mountains melted from before the LORD, even that Sinai from before the LORD God of Israel. Judges 5:4-5) (The Bible tells us 8 The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel. Psalm 68:8)

3 Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words (The Bible tells us 6 Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people. 7 For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for? 8 And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day? 9 Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons; Deuteronomy 4:6-9) (The Bible tells us 5 But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire. 6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. 7 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people: 8 But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers (Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob), hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Deuteronomy 7:5-8). (The Bible tells us 1 Ye are the children of the LORD your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead. 2 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people (His Treasure) unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth. Deuteronomy 14:1-2) 4 Moses commanded us a law (Torah), even the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob (The Bible tells us 1 Now therefore hearken (means hear and obey in Hebrew), O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you. 2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you (or Moses), neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. Deuteronomy 4:1-2). (The Bible tells us 109 My soul is continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law. 110The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts. 111Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart. 112 I have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes alway, even unto the end. Psalm 119:109-112)

5 And he was king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people and the tribes of Israel were gathered together (The Bible tells us 27 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee. 28 For the kingdom is the LORD's: and he is the governor among the nations. 29 All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul. 30 A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation. 31 They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this. Psalm 22:27-31). 6 Let Reuben live, and not die; and let not his men be few (The Bible tells us 3 Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power: Genesis 49:3). 7 And this is the blessing of Judah: and he said, Hear, LORD, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people: let his hands be sufficient for him; and be thou an help to him from his enemies (The Bible tell us 8 Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's children shall bow down before thee. 9 Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up (Who will stop him?)? 10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh (Messiah Gift of God.) come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. 11 Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes: 12 His eyes shall be red with wine (anger), and his teeth white with milk (Not only Judah but Christ.). Genesis 49:8-12). 8 And of Levi he said, Let thy Thummim and thy Urim be with thy holy one, whom thou didst prove at Massah, and with whom thou didst strive at the waters of Meribah (strife); (The Bible tells us 8 And he put the breastplate upon him: also he put in the breastplate the Urim (means light) and the Thummim (means pure and perfection). Leviticus 8:8) 9 Who said unto his father and to his mother, I have not seen him; neither did he acknowledge his brethren, nor knew his own children: for they have observed thy word, and kept thy covenant (The Bible tells us 26 Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD's side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him. 27 And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour (Those that were worshipping idols.).

10 They shall teach Jacob thy judgments, and Israel thy law: they shall put incense before thee, and whole burnt sacrifice upon thine altar (The Bible tells us 10 And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy (profane), and between unclean and clean; 11 And that ye may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the LORD hath spoken unto them by the hand of Moses. 12 And Moses spake unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons that were left, Take the meat offering that remaineth of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and eat it without leaven beside the altar: for it is most holy: Leviticus 10:10-12). 11 Bless, LORD, his substance, and accept the work of his hands; smite through the loins of them that rise against him, and of them that hate him, that they rise not again. 12 And of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by him; and the Lord shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders (The Bible tells us 10 He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he (God) led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye. 11 As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: 12 So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him. 13 He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock; (constantly fed them) Deuteronomy 32:10-13) 13 And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the LORD be his land, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath (The Bible tells us 27 And he came near, and kissed him: and he smelled the smell of his raiment, and blessed him, and said, See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which the LORD hath blessed: 28 Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth (the best of everything), and plenty of corn (grain) and wine: Genesis 27:27-28), 14 And for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and for the precious things put forth by the moon (The Bible tells us 8 The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. Deuteronomy 28:80), 15 And for the chief things of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the lasting hills, 16 And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush (An angel of the Lord appeared in the bush.): let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren (The Bible tells us 1 The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. 2 For he hath

founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. 3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? 4He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. Psalm 24:1-5). 17 His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns (wild ox): with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh (The Bible tells us 8 God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn (wild ox): he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows. 9 He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion (lioness): who shall stir him up? Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee. Numbers 24:8-9). 18 And of Zebulun (Dutch people) he said, Rejoice, Zebulun, in thy going out; and, Issachar, in thy tents (The Bible tells us 13 Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea; and he shall be for an haven of ships; and his border shall be unto Zidon. Genesis 49:13) (The Bible tells us 14 Issachar is a strong ass couching down between two burdens: 15 And he saw that rest was good, and the land that it was pleasant; and bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant unto tribute. Genesis 49:14-15). 19 They shall call the people unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness: for they shall suck of the abundance of the seas, and of treasures hid in the sand (The Bible tells us 5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD. 6 There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us. 7 Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. 8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:5-8). 20 And of Gad (Belgium) he said, Blessed be he that enlargeth Gad: he dwelleth as a lion, and teareth the arm with the crown of the head (The Bible tells us 19 Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last. Genesis 49:19). 21 And he provided the first part for himself, because there, in a portion of the lawgiver, was he seated; and he came with the heads of the people, he executed the justice of the LORD, and his judgments with Israel. 22 And of Dan he said (Became a maritime people.), Dan is a lion's whelp: he shall leap from Bashan (The Bible tells us 16 Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel (A lawgiver.). 17 Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall

backward (Expert on magic and superstition; leaves a path behind that he s been there; constant strive with his brother Ephraim. Genesis 49:16-17). 23 And of Naphtali (Swedish people.) he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the LORD: possess thou the west and the south (The Bible tells us 21 Naphtali is a hind let loose: he giveth goodly words. Genesis 49:21). 24 And of Asher (Southern Italy and Switzerland) he said, Let Asher be blessed with children; let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in (olive) oil (The Bible tells us 20 Out of Asher his bread shall be fat, and he shall yield royal dainties. Genesis 49:20). Say When all His people know him and are repentant. God tells us 11 The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy. 12 Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion. 13For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee. 14 He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat. 15 He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly. 16 He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes. 17 He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold? 18 He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow. 19 He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel. 20 He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD. Psalm 147:11-20) 25 Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be. 26 There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky (The Bible tells us 11 Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? 12 Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them. 13 Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation. Exodus 15:11-13). 27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them (The Bible tells us 18 And the LORD drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve the LORD; for he is our God. 19 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins (If we mix the truth of God with error or false doctrine. Joshua 24:18-19).

28 Israel then shall dwell in safety alone: the fountain of Jacob shall be upon a land of corn and wine; also his heavens shall drop down dew (The Bible tells us 1 Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands: 2 Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious. 3 Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! Through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee. 4 All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah. Psalm 66:1-4). 29 Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the LORD, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! And thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places (The Bible tells us 9 O Israel, trust thou in the LORD: he is their help and their shield. 10 O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield. 11 Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield. 12 The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron. 13 He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great. 14 The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children. 15 Ye are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth. 16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men. Psalm 115:9-16). MEMORY VERSE He (God) found him (Israel, 12 tribes) in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye. Deuteronomy 32:10 BELOW IS THE SABBATH SCHOOL LESSON FOR TOTS

HE FOUND THEM IN A DESERT LAND HE (God) FOUND (ISRAEL, 12 TRIBES) IN A DESERT LAND (EGYPT), AND IN THE WASTE AND HOWLING WILDERNESS; HE (GOD) LED HIM ABOUT, HE INSTRUCTED HIM, HE KEPT HIM AS THE APPLE OF HIS EYE. AS AN EAGLE STIRRETH UP HER NEST, FLUTTERETH OVER HER YOUNG, SPREADETH ABROAD HER WINGS, TAKETH THEM, BEARETH THEM ON HER WINGS: SO THE LORD ALONE DID LEAD HIM, AND THERE WAS NO STRANGE (god) WITH HIM HE MADE HIM RIDE ON THE HIGH PLACES OF THE EARTH, THAT HE MIGHT EAT THE INCREASE OF THE FLIELDS; AND HE MADE HIM TO SUCK HONEY OUT OF THE ROCK, AND OIL OUT OF THE FLINTY ROCK; DEUTERONOMY 32:10-13
