God is faithful: Christ is coming; let us offer our lives to the Lord. Let us worship God. News for the Good of the Church Prelude O Perfect Love arr. Peeters Choral Call to Worship Opening Prayer Made One by Christ *Hymn #475 Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing Clothed by Christ Listening for the silence of God followed by the Gloria Patri Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Corporate Prayer of Confession It is only by the power of God that we are able to stand against evil. Trusting in God s grace, let us confess our sins. Eternal God, we confess that we have failed to seek Your will. You warn us of what is to come, but we ignore the signs of the times. You promise us a new creation, but we cling to the ruins of this world. Forgive us, God of grace. Wash away the stain of our sin and keep us faithful in love and in deed, while we await Your coming in glory, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Now stand firm in your faith, covered by the saving grace of God and ready to proclaim the gospel of peace. In the name of Jesus Christ, we are forgiven! Thanks be to God.

I believe in the Holy Ghost, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Prayers of the People and the Lord s Prayer In Korean congregations, Tongsung Kido (Pray Aloud) is an important part of prayer life. You may begin your prayers at the first chime sound. At the sound of the second chime, we will conclude our prayers together. Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. A Life of Blessedness * Hymn #738 O Master, Let Me Walk with Thee * Charge and Benediction * Hymn #611 (3 rd verse) Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee A Blessing in Music Toccata in G Minor J. S. Bach Serve the Lord with Gladness Serve the Lord. Serve the Lord with gladness. Serve Him with gladness. Come before His presence with singing, glorious singing. Praise the Lord; O praise ye the Lord. Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Know that the Lord is God: it is He that hath made us. We are the sheep of His pasture. Serve the Lord. Serve the Lord with gladness. Serve Him with gladness. Come before His presence with singing, glorious singing. Praise the Lord; O praise ye the Lord. Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and praise: Give thanks and bless His Name. Praise God, from Whom all blessings flow; Praise Him, all creatures here below; Praise Him above, ye heav nly host; Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

The Vision of the Congregation: We see ourselves as the embracing arms of Jesus Christ for each other, for the community, and for the world. Welcome to our visitors! We hope that you find our congregation a welcoming one. Your presence enriches our worship of God. The flowers in the sanctuary today, given by Jennifer Patgorski, honor Tanner Furman s twentieth birthday. There will be a session meeting on Monday, Nov. 16, at 7:00. Sanctuary cleanup will occur on Saturday, Nov. 21, at 9:30. Volunteers are needed to help spruce up the sanctuary, clean candle globes, polish brass, etc. in preparation for the Advent season. A pizza lunch will be served. See Agnes for further details. Quarterly offering statements have been delayed due to a need to convert the offering database to a newer software application. Statements will be distributed as soon as possible when the conversion is complete.
