God has called an amazing team of young and young at heart pilgrims with great diversity of spiritual gifts and experience to serve this weekend. As I stood at the podium at the first team meeting I was truly overwhelmed at the Love and grace of God that sat in the meeting room before me. This team will reflect God s Grace and radiate the Love of Christ in a way that changes the hearts of our guests. And I am sure everyone involved will be blessed! We have experienced God s presence, power, and amazing blessings at each team meeting. We see His Hand over this weekend by calling 27 guests to become a part of His Pilgrimage Movement and to experience Him as never before! We are so excited to see God at work during these 4 days. I N S I D E T H I S I S S U E : Team List 2 Guest List 3 Stay Connected! 4 With the Website Note from the 4 Registrars Our Scripture for the weekend is: Phil 4:13- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Our Logo is a shield with the sling and stone of David inside. The shield is the universal symbol for strength. The sling and stone represent our dependence on God to overcome the challenges we encounter in our life. He can use our weakness for His Glory. He doesn t call the equipped..he equips those who respond to His call. My Cursillo/Pilgrimage experience 27 years ago changed my life. This is my hope.our hope.and prayer for each guest! We have felt God s Love and support from the Fourth Day Community as we have gone through the process of preparing for Weekend #133. Your prayers, meals at team meetings, and active support have truly been the Hands and Feet of Jesus. Please don t let up..remember the sendoff, the prayer banner, serenade, closure, and Ultreya. Keep bringing God s Grace and let s all help. Build His Kingdom Here! Online directory of the entire NC 4 th day including addresses and phone numbers Upcoming weekend dates, locations, and Rectors Newsletters from most weekends Logos from most weekends Current guest and sponsor applications A link to the prayer banner website A NCPP brochure for potential guests And much more.. Please use this newsletter as your trigger to verify that YOUR contact information is still current in the online directory! Why? So your brothers, sisters, and future Rectors can contact you! Also, make sure your reunion sisters and brothers received their newsletter, if not ask them to update their e-mail address! A Note From the Registrars: Brothers and Sisters, Pilgrimage will not survive without guests. For the movement to thrive, we need each of you to prayerfully and thoughtfully consider guests to sponsor for each and every weekend. Everyone has questions about what s involved with a weekend but please tell your potential guests that the reason you do not want to share everything with him/her is so the special surprises will actually be a surprise! Please to tell them there will be talks by both lay leaders and clergy, small and large group activities, as well as worship, singing, and sharing. If after prayer your guest agrees to attend the weekend, a complete guest application should be mailed to the Registrar in the appropriate NCPP conference. The MOST CURRENT Registrar is listed on the sponsor application to be found on the ncpilgrimage.org website. In fact, the website should be your first choice as a source for the most current forms and sponsor instructions as well. A guest is NOT considered to be registered without 1) a completed guest application, 2) a completed sponsor application, and 3) partial payment or indication of financial aid. While it is great to get the medical form with the application also, the medical form can be completed and turned in anytime before the weekend begins. The movement does not intend for the fees to keep anyone from attending a weekend; therefore, financial aid is available. However, since we all should be good stewards of the movement s funds, please do not freely offer financial aid unless there truly is a need. Please ask your guest if they are able to pay at least a portion of their fees and discuss the situation with the Registrar if financial aid is required. If everyone is a good steward, the movement will not only survive but also thrive! While it s a little late to sponsor a guest for Weekend #128, please be praying about guests for future weekends. The future weekends and dates are listed on the ncpilgrimage.org website along with other information you might need! God loves sponsors and so do we!
