We were there having been told that this was a weekend that would strengthen our walk with Christ. Our sponsors were a couple that we worked with at an evening contemporary service at our church. Russ and Marcia Reighley were new friends to us, and we knew that they were special. They had offered to sponsor us before, but the timing was never quite right. But God made everything work so that we could attend that weekend. As I have heard this same story countless times before, and I am sure you will also identify, I had no idea what was about to happen. We did not have a relaxing weekend retreat. We did not have a religious get away. For everyone, the weekend is special and affects them in a positive way. But for us, it was a fullon encounter with Christ. And yes, it was life changing. I N S I D E T H I S I S S U E : Team List 2 Guest List 3 Stay Connected! 4 With the Website Registrar Trivia 4 Our relationship with our living Lord was enhanced. Part of the way God accomplished this was by the blessing of the Fourth Day Community. Volumes would be needed to tell that story. These people have loved and supported us every day since. And so many of them are serving together with us this weekend all these years later. I have been covered in prayer and support. I have been encouraged and blessed in innumerable and immeasurable ways on this journey. I am grateful for every word, note, email and text that I have received. They usually arrived when I needed them the most. The vision for the weekend is reflected in the scripture, Colossians 1: 16, which says all things have been created through Him and for Him. I have heard it said that it is all about the guests. I am not in total disagreement with that statement, but I now have a deeper understanding. If we put our focus on the One who created us and who it was created for, then the guest and the team will certainly be taken care of in the process. It s all about Him! And through Him, all the blessings that we have received will be carried forward to a new generation of pilgrims in wonderful and exciting ways. Packing Up Reminders Directions to Camp Ultreya Information Western Conference Leaders 5 5 6 6 Come be with us on this journey. Sign up for the Prayer Banner, come for the Serenade, or come serve as fourth day as we wrap up the weekend. Not only do we need you, but Christ wishes to bless you! Give him a chance God loves you my Brothers and Sisters in Christ, and so do I! -Gary
