I invite all brother knights to attend. We have just completed another successful perogy supper last Friday and we will be having our final one on May 25, 2018 for this Columbian Year. I would like to thank the 49 workers on Wednesday for perogy pinching and related work, without your assistance we would not have the success during perogy week each month. We will start with potato peeling Monday at 1:00 pm on May 21, 2018. We ask brother knights to either come out and assist or attend with friends and parishioners for a great perogy supper prepared by brother knights. Sunday of the Blind Man The journey of faith of the man born blind reaches its conclusion. It began with his eyes being opened to the light, and ends with an explicit profession of faith in Jesus (9,38), the Son of Man (9,35) and light of the world (9,5). Without the words of Jesus ( you are looking at him ) the blind man would have continued to see but would not have come to believe. This man s reaction is that of an Do you ever wonder what visitors authentic Christian: he sees and believes, he say when they walk away from your believes and he adores (9,38), regardless of church? What was their experience there, the consequences. The final saying of Jesus clarifies the whole and was it good enough for them to ever episode (9,41). There are those who cannot wish to return? Here are just a few see, like the man born blind, and there are ideas for making visitors to your church those who do not want to see, like the Pharifeel welcome. sees. Those who cannot see are not blameworthy, but, for those who do not want to Leave your prejudices behind see, their sin remains. This kind of blindness Greet visitors and tell them you re glad is the result of sin, the obstinate refusal to they came accept Jesus as the light of the world. But even if they don t, it should be the goal of every churchgoing Christian to make visitors feel so welcome and so at home that when the day comes they see their need for God, they know just the church to go to for help. 6

Frequently, in our life, it seems we see a certain injustice. Someone lives as a unbeliever and He s doing good ; and someone lives piously and he suffers grief, unpleasantness. We say that some are more fortunate in life, some less. We evaluate constantly: that way is better, that way is worse. We can, as well, name numberless realistic situations, which influenced the fact that this is how it s happening, and not another way. It s very important to realize that our obligations, our concerns, all the circumstances or people around us these are incidental, for God gave all of this. Behind all of this is God. It may be that someone has bigger responsibilities but also has more grace, more grace for it: someone has less responsibility, however, God gives everyone according to the measure of his/her grace. Maybe someone will accomplish more on earth, looking from the human perspective, - obviously, he/she has more possibilities for it. This is the reason why it is important to sense the value of our personal life given us by God. It is important to realize the value of that, which we are doing, the significance of our concerns, and our responsibilities. Most likely very few of us sense this worth. For rarely are we aware, that this or another thing we re doing has its great weight before God. Therefore, it is necessary to remember that my responsibilities and circumstances of my life this is the place where I serve God. Most Reverend Venedykt The Feast of the Ascension of our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ is celebrated each year on the fortieth day after the Great and Holy Feast of Pascha (Easter). The Feast itself commemorates when, on the fortieth day after His Resurrection, Jesus led His disciples to the Mount of Olives, and after blessing them and asking them to wait for the fulfillment of the promise of the Holy Spirit, He ascended into heaven. 7
