Sermon Notes Thank you for allowing our nursery staff to care for your little ones so the worship of others will not be distracted. Pagers are available. Children are invited to participate in the Children s Message. When they exit they may join the Little Lambs (age 3-5) or the Worship Center (K-2nd grade). At the close of the service, please call for your child. Both centers are located upstairs, first hallway on the left. As a courtesy, please switch your cell phone & pagers off or to silent mode. Hearing enhancers are available. Please ask an usher. The flow of the worship service is subject to change.

The earth is the Lord s and everything in it. he world and all who live in it. Psalm 24:1 This morning we gather to worship the one who made and owns the universe! May you find him near to you through Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are glad you are here! This morning Pastor Michael will continue in our Lenten series focusing on David by looking at 1 Samuel 18:1-16 Saul s Jealousy of David. Next week, we will consider the story of David and Jonathan from I Samuel 20. Pastor Michael s sermon discussion class will meet in the Fireside Room following the morning worship service. We take this time to learn and discuss, along with our children in Sunday School and Catechism, about how we can take what we ve heard and apply it fully to our lives. Everyone is invited to come and share your thoughts, questions, and insights. Classis Lake Superior meets this Monday and Tuesday at Calvary CRC in Edina. Please pray for safe travel for all the delegates and for unity and encouragement for the churches of our Classis. Pastor Michael, Dewey Droogsma, and Judy Vander Linden will be representing Pease CRC at that meeting. If you have any questions about classis or would like to see the agenda, please feel free to talk to Pastor Michael. Please keep our congregation and Ben and Lindsay Gandy in your prayers as we continue to process of discernment together. Your offering next Sunday, March 11, will be received for the Milaca Area Pantry; on March 18 for the Pease Scholarship Fund and on March 25, Crossroads Bible Institute The deacons gratefully acknowledge the February 25, 2018 receipts: Budget-$5,305 and the Benevolent Fund-$909.

Our Church Family Congratulations to Flo Van De Riet who will celebrate her 92nd birthday tomorrow, March 5. Irene Kok had a successful heart valve replacement surgery. She is extremely grateful for the many expression of love and prayers this past week. Due to her continued need for recovery, the family is requesting no visits at home for a week. Joanne Ruis thanks you for all your prayers. She has returned to her home, Vista Springs Assisted Living; still in need of some rehab to get stronger, but she is very happy to be back in her apartment! We rejoice that Karen Bouma is back home and recovering following a procedure to place two stents near her heart. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. The Coffee Break Bible Study group is selling Easter flowers to help enhance our worship on Easter Sunday morning. Many beautiful flowers decorated our sanctuary last year and they would like to fill it again this year. Please take time to fill out the order form inserted in today s worship folder and return it to the church office by March 22. COME JOIN THE EASTER CHOIR!
