MAMBALAM Vol. 17, No. 7 Nizhal maps trees in T. Nagar parks Nizhal (NGO which works for savings trees and improving greenery in the city) has launched a project to map the trees in the parks in T. Nagar. Its volunteers are conducting a census of the trees that includes name, photograph, current age and geographical position. A Nizhal volunteer told Mambalam Times that TIMES ASHOK NAGAR - K.K. Nagar terminus Sir, Probably due to lack of space, buses are often parked very near one another in T. Nagar terminus. The practice poses a grave danger to commuters boarding the buses as the space is narrow and the rear view for the driver is totally blocked. Recently, a school girl almost got squeezed when the driver started the bus without realizing she was boarding. I appeal to MTC officials to instruct drivers not to park buses in an unsafe manner.
