What Jesus did in hell may be open for discussion, but the fact He went there is not. he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption. Many people described hell: "this place seems to be UNDERGROUND or WITHIN THE EARTH in some way." Some Christians teach "the heart of the earth" signifies the grave o the sepulchre, deepdug in the earth. It's wrong! 1. The standard depth of the grave is a mere six feet down. Considering the earth s diameter is over 8,000 miles, to imply six feet is "deep-dug" and in the "lower parts of the earth" is laughable.

2. The body of the Lord Jesus Christ was not placed in a "grave, deep-dug in the earth" but "in a tomb rock." 3. The earth is not "solid," but filled with a liquid "lake of fire and brimstone" called hell. 4. Jesus Christ "descended into the lower parts of the earth". Bodies do not "descend" into the grave, someone places the body in the grave. The body is dead but to "descend" requires the action.
