371 Total Responses Printed surveys handed out and filled out during Sunday services on 18 October 2015 (314) and 25 October 2015 (49) Complete Responses: 367 In 2012, there were a total of 543 responses. 451 surveys completed by worship attendees on 15 April and 92 surveys completed by worship attendees on 22 April. 3 Profiling the typical Union Church attendee PREDOMINANTLY FEMALE Our survey was filled out by 59.6% female vs 40.4% male which is somewhere between HK 2014 population stats (53.8% female vs 46.2% male) and the average 2014 congregation figures of international churches (63.4% female vs 36.6% male). In line with 2012 survey: 60% female vs 40% male. BETWEEN THE AGES OF 32 TO 60 The largest age groups were a) 41 to 50 (29.0%), b) 51 to 60 (27.3%) and c) 32 to 40 (22.2%) From 2012 survey: a) 41 to 50 (33.1%), b) 31 to 40 (26.5%) and c) 51 to 60 (20.6%) MARRIED AND CHINESE The majority were married (72.9%) and Chinese (52.3%) There were around 21.9% single congregants and 30.5% Caucasian In line with 2012 survey: 70% married / 22% single. The majority of attendees stated that they give financially to Union Church but only a small proportion pledge 87.3% OF RESPONDENTS GIVE FINANCIALLY TO UNION CHURCH BUT ONLY 30.7% PLEDGE 87.3% of respondents give financially. This is in comparison with the 2012 survey where 70% of respondents stated that they give financially Of those giving financially, there is a larger proportion of female (61.1%) vs male (38.9%). Pledgers have a slightly smaller differential of female (57.0%) vs male (43.0%).
