The office is open Monday to Thursday from 10:00 to 12:00 and 1:15 to 4:30, as well as after Sunday masses. If possible, return the completed form to the office on Sundays or bring it to the first session. The first session this year will be on Sunday November 5 th starting with the 11:00 am mass, followed by a presentation in the church hall. Students and one of their parents are expected to participate in all the 10 sessions to the best of their ability. Parish Headcount Once again this year, we will be conducting a parish headcount on two weekends in Churches across the Archdiocese. This will begin this weekend October 14/15 and October 21/22. Membership is $25.00. World Mission Sunday World Mission Sunday is 22 October 2017. This is a worldwide collection for the Missionary Church that provides emergency aid when disasterss strike, cares for refugees in war- for priests, catechist, religious and lay pastoral torn nations, provides rural health clinics and transportation workers. It provides financial support for the daily needs of all missionaries. 2017-2018 Sunday Missals at the Religious Articles Room The 2017-18 Sunday Missals are now available in the Religious Articles Room for $4 each. There are also a small number of 2017-18 Sunday Missals for Young Catholics available at $8 each. If you are interested in trying a weekday missalette, there are a limited number of Living with Christ missalettes available each month. There is always a good selection of crucifixes, rosaries, bibles, CDs, devotionals, sacramental gifts, and other religious mementos. With sufficient notice, special orders can be made. The Religious Articles Room is located inside the side entrance between the rectory and the main Church and is open after all Sunday Masses and at other times by appointment. RCIC: Preparation for Baptism for Children 2 to 12 yrs Preparation for Baptism of children 2 to 12 years, who were not baptized as infants in the Catholic Church. Classes will begin Sunday, October 22 during the 9:00 am Mass in the St. Michael s Chapel for 6 weeks. Baptism will take place on Sunday, November 26 at 1:00 pm in Guardian Angels Church. To register please pick-up an application form at the Parish Office. Holy Rosary October is the month of the Holy Rosary. During this entire month, the Rosary will be prayed before Mass at Sacred Heart Church. Plan to join together and pray for world peace, conversion of sinners, the sick and Holy Souls in Purgatory.
Feast of All Saints: Wednesday, 1 November Today we rejoice in the holy men and women of every time and place. May we look to their lives as examples of faith and hope of eternal glory. Mass will be celebrated at 12:10 pm and 7:00 pm at Guardian Angels Church. Feast of All Souls: Thursday, 2 November Today we remember all who have died in God s grace and friendship. We are strengthened in hope that all our departed brothers and sisters will share in His Resurrection. The Parishes of Guardian Angels and Sacred Heart are invited to remember the souls of their loved ones by entering names on the back of the All Souls Day Envelope. Let us remember our Loved ones during the month of November. Mass will be celebrated at 12:10 pm and 7:00 pm at Guardian Angels Church. Faith Formation Faith Formation will be hosting a family movie night to help celebrate the 100 th Anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima. The movie, The Miracle of Our Lady of Fatima, will be shown on Friday, November 3 at 6:30 pm in the Guardian Angels parish hall. Refreshments will be provided.
