Their older daughter, Brooke, who is in the 8th grade at William James, is already a church member. Parker, who is in the 6th grade at Williams James was confirmed. Their younger son, Benny, is in the 4th grade at Julia P. Bryant. Youth Ministries News Night of Worship at the RAC - May 1 **No Sunday Night Surge** This Sunday night we will not be having regular Surge. Instead, we will be participating in the community wide worship service being held at the GSU RAC Pavillion. We will be meeting at the church at 5:00PM, heading to Sonic to grab some refreshments, and then to the GSU RAC Pavilion. This event is from 6:00PM 9:00PM. We will be taking the church bus to accommodate any students who do not drive. We would love for your student to join us! Breakfast Club - May 2 We will meet at 7:00AM in Room 306 to enjoy breakfast, fellowship, and a devotional. We will then transport students to school. Vacation Bible School June 13-17 Every year our students do a fantastic job serving our children s ministry through Vacation Bible School. If your student would like to sign up to help please let Becca know, bbrown@statesborofirst.com. Students will need to arrive each morning by 8:40AM and will be dismissed around 12:15PM. Kids JAM will provide special music. Please offer your support and encouragement as the children are very excited about this leadership opportunity. Wednesday Night Ministry Wednesday night, May 11, will be our final Wednesday night children s ministry gathering of the season. We will celebrate with a party for Pre-K through 5th grade in the Fellowship Hall following small group activities. **Please note, there will be no Kids JAM on May 11. Vacation Bible School June 13-17 9:00AM-12:00PM Registration is available on our website for children in rising Pre-K through 6th grade (must be 4 years old by 9/1/16).
