We interpret this as meaning that First Baptist Church in Thayer should be actively involved in sharing the gospel message in the City of Thayer, Missouri, in the state of Missouri, in North American, and in our world internationally. Yes No One way this could be accomplished is by church members being responsible for their own neighborhoods so that every residence in Thayer can be contacted. 6. Would you be interested in seeing our church participate in a gas give away? Yes No This is how it could work. We would partner with a gas station and give away fuel in $20 increments for a predetermined amount of money. (For example, If we decided to give away a total of $2000 dollars we would give $20 worth of gasoline to the first 100 customers.) Also, while fueling, we would give the customers information about our church, gospel tracts, and witness to them at the pump. If yes, where should the money come from? Would you like our church to consider sending teams to partner with our missionary families in what they are doing to reach the world for Christ? Yes No For example, we could send a vision team to Argentina to see how our church could partner in the work the Frealy family is doing to reach Argentina with the gospel. The trip would probably cost around $2500 per person.
12. One mission project we are currently participating in is called Love Packages. This ministry collects Christian literature such as Bibles, used Sunday School material, and devotional material and ships them around the world to English speaking people who do not have access to Christian literature. Would you be interested in taking a trip to the Love Packages Headquarters in Butler Illinois? Yes No During our stay we would help prepare the donated materials for shipment overseas. There are dorm facilities to sleep in and a kitchen to prepare food in. Food and gas would be the only expenses in a trip like this. Do you think individuals who volunteer for this trip should cover the expenses or the church? Individuals Church 13.
