Topic: Prayer Grade 2 Prayer Relate the Eucharist as the Church s greatest prayer. Identify prayer as conversation with God through praise, thanksgiving, petition and contrition. Demonstrate how we can pray using words, in song, in gestures and body postures, and in the quiet of our hearts. Explain the Hail Mary. Explain the meaning and purpose of the Act of Contrition. Recite by heart the prayers listed in the DFR Religion Curriculum Prayer List.
