How Does Crystal Energy Work? Crystal energy is actually pretty simple. You know how your phone is always asking you to update it to the newest software. When you update your phone it gets rid of glitches and keeps the phone working in tip top shape.that is just like how crystals work. Your body (auric field, physical, and emotional body) sometimes needs a tune up or an update, the frequency or life force (prana) of your body changes all the time. When a crystal comes into contact with your body it asks 'would you like me to update your frequency?' Then your body responds by taking in the crystals frequency and updating its own frequency to it. Now the frequency of crystals depending on how high or low or what emotional or physically field will dictate a body response. You may feel this in many ways; at peace, calmed, energized, hot, cold, tingly etc. So very simply your crystal is like an energy tune up!
The Chakra System Different areas in your body have denser amounts of energy than others. Everything on this earth is made of energy, including us, and feelings/ emotions/ intentions. As we walk through our lives these dense areas of energy are affected by things like stress, our self limiting beliefs, the way we treat ourselves, and more (which are all frequencies ).. These dense areas of energy are called chakras. When we talk about crystal healing we are talking about healing these chakras. We can think of chakras as spinning wheels that spin clock wise. Ideally, they spin to a count of 10 seconds per 1 spin clockwise, although this is not always the case depending on our lifestyle. When we bring crystals near our chakras they ask the frequency of the chakra (which could be just right, too fast, too slow, or not moving at all) to reboot and reset back to their norm.
What Are The Chakras? When we talk about chakras we usually teach about the 7 (or 8 main chakras) or dense areas of energy in your body. Each chakra rules certain emotions, elements, and physical areas in the body. The chakras go from the feet all the way up past the crown of your head (there are actually more than 100, but we typically talk about the basic 7 8.) The chakras start from the base of the spine and go up to the crown of the head.

Chakra 1: Root Chakra, Emotions; Trust & Security Chakra 2: Sacral Chakra, Emotions; Creativity, Passion, Motivation Chakra 3: Solar Plexus, Emotions; Wisdom, Personal Power Chakra 4: Heart Chakra, Emotions; Love, Self Love, Forgiveness, Healing Chakra 5: Throat Chakra, Emotions; Communication, Truth, Honesty Chakra 6: Third Eye, Emotions; Awareness, Spirituality, Connectivity Chakra 7: Crown Chakra, Emotions: Spirituality, Universal Love, Support Additional Chakra: Earth (or Earth Star) Location: Feet & 1 Foot Below, Emotions: Supported, Grounded, In tune with Mother Nature Do you feel imbalanced or balanced in any particular area/ chakra? Crystals To Balance Chakras The frequency of crystals correlates to the natural frequency of each chakra, meaning that certain crystals can work to balance or restore chakras back to their natural function and spin. These specific crystals are very effective at balancing out when laid on or around their correlating chakra. Balance is created by transmuting current energy and updating the chakras frequency. How to Balance Your Chakras Each chakra is located at a certain area in the body, this area is where you would want to lay your crystal on (laying flat on your back facing up.) You dont have to place the crystals directly on your body, but the closer the better. Typically they are left in the area for 7 20 minutes for optimal balancing. Chakra 1: Root Chakra, Base of your spine (back), Between your hip points (front) Chakra 2: Sacral Chakra, Slightly above your hip points (front) Chakra 3: Solar Plexus, Belly button area (front) Chakra 4: Heart Chakra, Between your shoulder blades (back), Sternum, heart area (front) Chakra 5: Throat Chakra, Base of the neck (back) In the soft area between your collarbones (front) Chakra 6: Third Eye, Between your eyebrows (front) Chakra 7: Crown Chakra, Above the top of your head, and 1 feet outward Additional Chakra: Earth (or Earth Star) Feet & 1 Foot Below.
Additional Uses Chakra Healing is not the only use for crystals. It is simply the most used format for crystal healing. Additionally, you may find some of these techniques useful: Crystal Meditation: You can use crystals in your daily meditation. There are two methods typically of choosing crystals. One, intuition. You choose a crystal based on which one calls to you, find a quiet place to sit, calm your mind, and shut down. You crystal may present a feeling to you by way of heat, cold, tingling, emotion, or download of spiritual information. If your intuition isnt calling for you, you may choose a crystal to meditate with by its purpose. Say you are sick and looking for some relief, in a very logical fashion you might choose something that is known to help with the common cold, like Carnelian. You can then meditate with the crystal in your hands, or place it on the affected area. Carrying Your Crystals: Some people find it especially useful to carry crystaks with them daily in a pouch or in their pocket. Again you can choose to use your intuition, or choose crystals that apply towards your specific needs for the day.
