Two weeks ago I got the best news that I could have ever asked for when the doctor called and said that my latest PET scan showed me to be free of lymphoma. After only six months of treatment, my cancer had cleared and I am now on my way to full recovery! When I got the news I thought I would start to laugh and sing but I cried, sobbed actually, because I was so grateful and humbled by the report. I felt as though my life had just begun and I was given a bright new opportunity to begin again. I would like to thank you all so very much for your prayers, healing and love. As I have said before, I am convinced that it is because of you that I healed so quickly and thoroughly. I am also very grateful to the doctors, nurses and technicians who so lovingly took care of me, explaining each procedure with kindness and making sure that I knew exactly what was going on at all times. There are some amazing people in our health care network who truly care about our well being and I think that they don't often get the appreciation they deserve. I am also grateful for the medicine that I received. When I was first diagnosed I did not want to receive chemotherapy - I was someone who was set against it. But after having each drug explained to me, what it did and how it worked and, because I was very sick at stage 4 cancer, I did decide to proceed. For me it was the right decision for, even though it was not a pleasant experience, I am now healthy. Of course, I also changed my diet, juiced, meditated and did self-healing. But I do believe that it all worked together to create this result.
I still need to be on what's called a two year maintenance program where I get treatments every two months but the drug they use is not really that bad and I won't have adverse side effects from it. Again, very grateful for the advances in medicine! I'm hoping that this is the last time I need to talk about cancer other than the positive lessons I received from my experience and I must say, there were many. I was determined to go through this and learn as much as I could about myself and healing. Never let a lesson go by I say! So, thank you again! I am so blessed to have had you with me on this journey and I will never forget your kindness and love. May it all come back to you a million fold! Start your week off with a gentle yoga class that incorporates movement, stretching, breath work, and meditation. All classes will be held in the wonderful energetic atmosphere of Free Spirit Crystals. How can it get any better than that? Pat is a registered yoga teacher with over 200 hours of training. She graduated from yoga teacher training with Hope Zvara in 2011. She has been teaching yoga classes in Jackson, Menomonee Falls and Hartford. She teaches Hatha Yoga and Yin Yoga with some Restorative yoga added into the mix. Pat says, "I started yoga in my 50's needing something to bring me back to my Self. Yoga helps me stay connected to my body even when the world around me is too chaotic. I can hear myself breathe. I can feel my lungs expand and ribs move. I can feel where my body is in space. Class size is limited so sign up early. Crystal Healing Teacher's Class Led by Diane Bloom Fall of 2016 I have decided to stop teaching my crystal healing class series. After 25 years and over 100 classes, I believe it is time to pass the torch on to someone else. The great thing is, that person could be you! If you have taken my classes and have a desire or curiosity to learn how to teach the material, I will be teaching the teachers of the future beginning this fall. Besides the content of the classes, I will lead you through exercises designed to help you become the best teacher you can be! You will receive all the handouts and information in order to formulate your own classes and style. And don't worry about having to buy thousands of dollars worth of stones! Everyone who graduates from the class will have the opportunity to use the traveling stone collection that I used. You will set up your own classes, charge whatever fees you'd like in whatever venue you like. You keep the money from all your classes and build up your own healing clientele.
