Care Ministries Hospital Visitation Team Meal Care Visit Wesley Members during hospital stays in coordination with Pastors. Prepare and/or deliver meals to families during times of illness, birth, or crisis. 1-2 Hours 1-2 Hours Prayer Pray at home weekly for Wesley staff, ministries and congregational requests. Weekly Rosebud Delivery Deliver rosebuds to those with new babies. Wesley Cares Provide outreach to Wesley s homebound through visits, phone calls, cards, emails. FaithCare Clinic FaithCare Clinic, Inc. provides free care for minor illnesses and ongoing primary care, professional counseling and some prescription drug assistance. Volunteers needed include physicians, nurses, physician assistants, medical staff, and professionally trained pastoral counselors. Every other Tuesday night 2-4 Hours Foreign Mission Team Travel to and be in ministry in places like Honduras and Africa, etc. TBA

Missions (Continued) Good Neighbor Ministries Work alongside St. Luke UMC assisting with various supportive activities for the children of the Harrisburg community in downtown Augusta Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) IHN is a ministry for homeless families with children. Wesley is part of the Augusta network of area churches of various denominations. Each church hosts a several families three times per year, and volunteers are needed to set up, clean up, are meals, serve as overnight and activity hosts, and grocery shop. Quarterly 2-8 Hours per week of hosting Master s Table Soup Kitchen Soup kitchen ministry to local homeless. Duties include aring lunch, manning serving line and clean-up following meal. Third Thurs. every other 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (approx.) Mechanics The ministry ares donated cars to give to the needy. This ongoing ministry has donated over 300 cars. Volunteers should like to work on cars as a hobby and want to help those in need. 4-6 Hours per case Men In Mission Men In Mission seeks to provide fellowship and mission for men of all ages. This group takes on local mission projects of all varieties. Breakfast and devotional every Tuesday morning at 7 AM. Breakfast Tuesday mornings, projects as needed Pumpkin Patch Assist with the sale of pumpkins & flowers. October Relief and Recovery (Short term mission trips) Local and national mission trips primarily focusing on construction projects can be overnight or day jobs. Volunteers can choose projects to participate in as their schedules permit. 3-5 s per year Long weekends or one day jobs plus training United Methodist Women (UMW) UMW support missions around the world including the United States. Projects include children's homes, community centers, hospitals, schools, universities, and missionaries. Five groups meet September through May. Involvement by group and can include an extensive missionary education program involving mission study, reading program, and group programs. Circle activities by Circle Wesley Yard Sale Wesley s semi-annual yard sales raise thousands of dollars for mission and outreach. Volunteers are needed to collect items, set up, work during the sale, and break down afterwards. Spring and Fall 6+ Hours
