Please pass this along to all the congregation and those involved. Much love and appreciation, John, James, Ed and Raymond Craft Dear Ministry of Lewisville United Methodist Church, I want to formally thank you on behalf of all the scouts that came before me and will come after me. Stephen Ministers are trained lay care-givers who provide emotional and spiritual care to persons who are experiencing difficulties in their lives hospitalization, loss of a loved one, loss of job, or any other crisis situation. This is care in addition to the care the pastor gives. If you are interested in having a Stephen Minister, fill out one of the slips in the pew rack and put it in the offering plate or hand it to the minister or one of the Stephen Leaders or Tom Lee. THE DANIEL PLAN is a groundbreaking healthy lifestyle program founded on biblical principles and focused on The Essentials: Faith, Food, Fitness, Focus and Friends. The program offers an innovative approach to achieving a healthy lifestyle in which people get better together by optimizing their health in each of these life areas. Each essential supports and influences the others, offering a practical step-by-step approach for anyone to follow. This is based on a six-week series from Rick Warren, Dr. Daniel Amen and Dr. Mark Hyman. It is an innovative approach to achieving a healthy lifestyle that is both transformational and sustainable because it is about abundant choices, not diet deprivation. If you are interested in this life changing study, please join us for an informational meeting on Sept. 8th in the church parlor at 7pm. If you have questions, please contact Tanya Kivett, (cell) 817-9984.
