6 Invitation Contents Inclusions Trip Summary Itinerary Terms & Conditions DAY 1 FRI. MAR. 15 DEPART USA After connecting flights from around the U.S., our journey of a lifetime begins with an evening departure on United Airlines from Newark. DAY 2- SAT. MAR. 16 - ARRIVE TEL AVIV/CAESAREA BY THE SEA Upon arrival at Ben Gurion airport, we clear security & passport control, then retrieve our luggage. We meet our guide, board our air-conditioned bus and head for our first stop: Caesarea by the Sea, the magnificent seaport built by Herod the Great where the Apostle Paul appeared before his accusers (Acts 24). We then travel to the Carlton Beach Hotel in Tel Aviv right on the Mediterranean for dinner and overnight. DAY 3 SUN. MAR. 17 - BEERSHEBA/MITZPE RAMON /WILDERNESS TABERNACLE/ EILAT After breakfast our bus takes us to Beersheba, the ancient home of Abraham to see the ruins and archeological site. We move on through the Negev desert where we imagine the wandering of the ancient Israelites in the wilderness. After lunch at Mitzpe Ramon, we turn toward Timna to learn the lessons of the sacrificial system described in Leviticus at the Wilderness Tabernacle. We arrive in Eilat in time to enjoy the beach or pool at our hotel. Dinner and overnight at the Herod s Palace Hotel in Eilat DAY 4 MON. MAR. 18 - BORDER CROSSING/PETRA/BACK TO ISRAEL In the morning we depart from the city of Eilat, cross the border, then drive to Petra, the ancient Edomite and Nabatean capital, and Rose Red City half as old as time. We ll see the spectacular city of the dead, with its famed gorge, ancient streets, temples, dwelling places and tombs carved in solid rock. Our visit involves a two-mile walk that includes the famous Siq (the natural gorge) to arrive at the Treasury. We can see temple ruins of the Roman city, the Nabatean Judgment Hall, palace tombs, famous Urn Temple and the Roman Amphitheater. A climb of several hundred steps to the high places might appeal to the adventurous. We return to Israel for late dinner and overnight at Herod s Palace Hotel DAY 5 TUE. MAR. 19 - EN GEDI/JERICHO/BEIT SHEAN/JORDAN VALLEY/GAN HASHLOSHA /TIBERIAS We depart from Eilat and head to the beautiful desert oasis of En Gedi, where David hid from King Saul (1 Samuel 24). After special moments of worship, we head for the tel of Jericho a favorite spot for archaeologists since it s the oldest excavated city in history. We enjoy an excellent view of the Mount of Temptation. Jericho is also an excellent location to buy world-famous Hebron pottery. Following a stop for shopping and lunch, we proceed north along the Jordan Valley for the incredible ruins of Beit Shean, featuring eighteen layers of civilization where Saul and his sons were nailed to the city wall. We then depart for Gan Hashlosha, near Gideon s Spring, which feeds the Jordan for our baptism in late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the Leonardo Plaza Hotel in Tiberias.

7 Day by Day Itinerary DAY 6 WED. MAR. 20 - BOAT RIDE SEA OF GALILEE/CAESAREA PHILIPPI/MT. OF BEATITUDES/MAGDALA Our day begins with a memorable boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Our bus climbs into the Golan Heights where we arrive at the base of Mt. Hermon. Banyas, the Caesarea Philippi of the Bible, is a main water source for the Jordan River. Here Peter made his great declaration about Jesus (Mk. 8:27ff). Today we follow some of the stories in Mark 4-6 about the ministry of Jesus. Our stops include the Mt. of Beatitudes where Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount. We move on to Capernaum, our Lord s hometown for two years (Matt.4:13) and marvel at multitudes that were attracted to the miracles He performed. We include a brief stop to commemorate the feeding of the 5,000 (Matthew 14) and conclude the day with an exciting visit to the ancient village of Magdala, the possible home of Mary Magdalene, and the site for ruins of a 1st Century synagogue that Jesus probably visited! Return to the Leonardo Plaza Hotel for dinner and overnight. DAY 7 THU. MAR. 21 MT. ARBEL/CANA/NARARETH/MEGIDDO/CARMEL RANGE/ ISRAEL MUSEUM/JERUSALEM An early walk along the shore provides a spectacular memory of sunrise over the Sea of Galilee. After breakfast, our bus climbs Mt. Arbel for a final and majestic look at the Sea of Galilee. Then we drive past the city of Cana, where Jesus performed his first miracle, to Nazareth, the boyhood home of Jesus to visit the Church of the Annunciation and the caves of the ancient village. After lunch we drive through the Jezreel Valley to the tel of Megiddo, one of the most strategic cities of this area which dates to 4,000 B.C. We then move through the Carmel mountain range, where Elijah fought the prophets of Baal (I Kings 18:1-40) and stop at the Israel Museum before we head for dinner and overnight at the David Citadel hotel in Jerusalem DAY 8 FRI. MAR. 22 HOLOCAUST MUSEUM/EIN KAREM/BETHLEHEM/ HERODIAN/CHURCH OF THE NATIVITY/SHEPHERDS FIELDS/JERUSALEM As we leave our hotel, we begin the day with a sobering visit to the Holocaust Museum, where we are reminded of the tragic persecution of the Jews during World War II. Then we visit the traditional birthplace of John the Baptist, Ein Karem. We travel to Bethlehem and visit the Herodian, the mountain fortress constructed by King Herod, where he watched for disturbances in the city of Jerusalem. After lunch we walk through the Church of the Nativity and the Shepherds fields, where God first saw a manger through human eyes. Then we spend some time shopping before we head for dinner and overnight at the hotel. DAY 9 SAT. MAR. 23 BETHANY/QUMRAN/MASADA/DEAD SEA/HEBRON After breakfast, we head to the eastern slopes of the Mount of Olives and the town of Bethany, home to Mary, Martha & Lazarus. We drive through the Judean desert to Qumran, the site of the most significant Biblical, archeological discovery of the 20th Century, the Dead Sea Scrolls. Then we head south along the Dead Sea to Masada, where we ascend high on the mountain by way of the cable car to the fortress built by King Herod. Here we survey the ruins of the fortifications, waterworks, synagogue, and palaces. We enjoy floating in the Dead Sea and, if possible, a visit to Hebron before we return to our hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

8 Invitation Contents Inclusions Trip Summary Itinerary Terms & Conditions DAY 10 SUN. MAR. 24 - TEMPLE MOUNT/POOLS OF BETHESDA/RABBINICAL TUNNEL/TEMPLE TREASURES INSTITUE/SOUTHERN STEPS/ROCKEFELLER ARCHEO- LOGICAL PARK/CITY OF DAVID/WESTERN WALL We begin the day with an early departure from the hotel in order to visit the Temple Mount. As we walk through the Mughrabi Gate, we not only observe the home of two of Islam s holiest sites - the Dome of the Rock and the Al Aqsa Mosque but are also reminded of the two Jewish temples built by Solomon and Herod. We exit the Temple Mount and stop to visit the remnants of the Pools of Bethesda. Next we walk along bedrock as we follow the rabbinical tunnel and see the stones that date to the time of Christ. A visit to the Temple Treasures Institute reminds us that preparations are being made today for the construction of the third Jewish temple. The remainder of this day continues our focus on the Jewish history of this unforgettable city as we visit the City of David, the Southern Steps, the Western Wall, and the Rockefeller Archeological Park before we return to the hotel for dinner and overnight. DAY 11 MON. MAR. 25 - MOUNT OF OLIVES/GARDEN OF GETHSEMANE/VIA DOLOROSA//UPPER ROOM/HOUSE OF CAIAPHAS/MOUNT ZION Today we ascend to the top of the Mt of Olives to view the Church of the Ascension. We then follow the path Jesus took during His Palm Sunday ride into Jerusalem. We view the city from the courtyard of the Church Of All Nations and spend some time reflecting on the agony of our Lord as He contemplated His suffering for our sin. We enter the Old City through the Lion s Gate and make our way through the crowded streets to follow the Way of Sorrows, the Via Dolorosa, to Calvary and the tomb of Christ at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. After lunch we visit the Upper Room, Tomb of King David and the House of Caiaphas before we return to the David Citadel hotel. DAY 12 TUE. MAR. 26 - GORDON S CALVARY/GARDEN TOMB/THE OLD CITY/ FAREWELL DINNER/DEPART FOR AIRPORT We begin our final day in Jerusalem with a visit to Gordon s Calvary and the Garden Tomb where we enjoy communion and celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord. For many people, this is the highlight of the tour. We spend the rest of the day in the Old City with free time to shop and enjoy the sites of the most unique location in the world. We conclude our time in the Holy Land with a farewell dinner at the Ambassador hotel before we return to the airport for our late night departure for the USA. DAY 13 WED. MAR. 27 ARRIVE USA We arrive early this morning and transfer to our domestic flights home filled with life-changing memories
