Beanum reetings in the miraculous name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the captain of our salvation and sooncoming King. Truly, He's worthy of more praises and honor than we can ever give unto him. We are now in an election year to choose a new president, and many are campaigning for their candidate. Each feels that his or hers is the best choice for leading this country. Well, we are campaigning also, knowing that our candidate is by far the best. His name is Jesus! The goal is to encourage others to help win souls for Christ. That's why we are campaigning for him. He s able to do above all we can do, ask or think. The results are in. There's only one true and living God who died, was buried three days, rose again, and is alive for evermore; with all power in his hands. We've received Him as our Savior, and you can also. He came to save that which was lost (Matt. 18:11). Now, it's up to us to go into the hedges and highways. And as many as we shall find, bid them come to the marriage feast. Which is God's bride, the Church, that is soon to be. Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price (Isaiah. 55:1). Thanks be to our wonderful Lord and Savior; the price was paid on Calvary. Luke 23:33-34 states, 33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. 34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's (1Cor. 6:20). Each of us is to minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God, knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that our body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin (Rom. 6:6). Let's each campaign for Christ; biding whosoever will to lift up Jesus in these last days. We must be salt and lights, having an effect on sinners, waving the blood-stained banner, warning boys, girls, men and women to redeem the time; for the days are evil! Amen. A Word from Our Editor... Down in my Soul is Crying HOLY! By: Sister Marilyn Silver Praise the Lord Everyone. I greet you in the Holy name of Jesus. The scriptures below detail John s vision of Heaven. Oh, the thrill to see the Savior s face, the streets of gold, and to have peace and joy forevermore! Don t you want to go? Let s gird up our loins and prepare to meet Him! Revelation.4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. 2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. 3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. 4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. 5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. 6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. 7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. 8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. Let s praise the Lord at all times, through the good and the bad, whether happy or sad. For He is Holy, and He deserves all the praise. Down in my soul is crying Holy!! Temple Elders Speak... No Worries By: Elder Torrey Miller We live in a world of uncertainty, confusion, and chaos. As a result, millions of people around the world live their lives worrying about what their future will hold. They are fearful about future employment, family stability, health status etc. Not only are the ungodly worrying about such things but, unfortunately, many Christians are also. Nevertheless, in the Gospel of Matthew (see Matthew 6), Jesus advised His followers not to worry. He asked the audience this question, "Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?" The answer to that questions is NOBODY can! Therefore, Jesus was showing them that it is unprofitable for anyone to spend valuable time worrying about things outside of their control. Instead of worrying about the future, realize that God holds our future and He knows our ending from the beginning. It is He who will be the supplier of all our needs according to His riches in glory. It doesn't matter what is going on in the world, we serve the Lord of heaven who will get us from earth to glory. No worries...god is in control! Page 2 Temple of Deliverance, HCG, Inc. Newsletter

Temple Men Speak... Be Not Weary in Well Doing By: Deacon Titus Smith I once attended a funeral of a saint, and a certain preacher, who stood to encourage the family expressed mixed feelings at the passing. He asked, What do we do? Do we cry it out? (because we re going to genuinely miss the loved one). Or, do we shout it out? (knowing we don t sorrow as those who have no hope) Not too long ago, I experienced similar mixed emotions after I d suffered a recent disappointment. I honestly didn t know how to feel about it. Was it ok to feel the frustration, sadness, and despondency of the disappointment? Or, should I just man up, dismiss it quickly, and stay numb to the situation so that I wouldn t feel anything? I searched and I found a wonderful internet blog post about 13 bible verses and 6 steps to overcoming disappointment. (http://goo.gl/ ilc9rx) The 6 steps are: (1.) Believe in God s plan (2.) Grieve (3.) Pray (4.) Listen and wait (5.) Search for the good and (6.) Believe in yourself. All 6 steps and the accompanying scriptures are very powerful, but the step that really impacted me was step 2, Grieve. So many times as men we push away grief to the darkened corners of our minds and try to stay very busy to repress those emotions. We rarely talk about it and may try to keep these feelings a secret. But, to experience that sadness and defeat are healthy so that we can release them, and move on. Remember when King David fasted and sought God to spare the child that Uriah s wife bore? When God allowed the child to die, David arose from the earth, washed and anointed himself, changed his clothes, and went to the house of the Lord and worshipped. He then went back home and ate. The story goes on to say that his servants were perplexed about this and David essentially said to them, What s done is done. I can t bring the child back from the dead. I have grieved, and now it s time to move on (2 Samuel 12:15-23). In this life we will all experience disappointment, frustration, and setbacks. Isaiah described even Jesus as a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief (Isaiah 53:3). So, it is ok to feel those emotions for a short duration, but don t stay there. Men of God, know that God s plans will always be greater and more beautiful than all your disappointments. Be not weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not (Galatians 6:9). True Pentecostal Church of Christ Fellowships with TOD... Bishop Joseph Lindsay August 28, 2016 3:00pm Service The saints returned to the sanctuary for an afternoon service, and the Lord met us there. When we all get together, what a time, what a time, what a time! Testimonies and songs of praise drew us together on one accord. The spirit of the Lord moved from heart to heart and breast to breast. Pastor Joseph Lindsay brought forth the word of God. He read from: Deuteronomy 6:10-13-KJV. 10 And it shall be, when the Lord thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not, 11 And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full; 12 Then beware lest thou forget the Lord, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. 13 Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name. He used the subject title, "For the Rest of My Life, I'll Serve Him." Bishop Lindsay reminded us to look at what the Lord has done for us. And, he asked the question, What have you done for Him? We must be about our Father s business and not forget what the Lord has done for us. Thank God for the sweet fellowship. Continue to pray for True Pentecostal and the Temple Family. All honor and praise to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God truly met us there at every service. Our souls were revived, uplifted, restored, renewed and more committed to serving the Lord. Our very own, Sister Camille Jones, professed receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost; many other souls were blessed as they cried out at the altar. Let s not forget what the Lord has done and is doing in the lives of His people. Our speaker during the revival was Bishop Ronald Demery, Bible Way Church Washington DC. On Homecoming Day our pastor, Elder Lynn Beanum, Jr., brought forth the word of God in the morning service and Elder Leslie Gales, Sr., God s Living Word, Triangle, VA, spoke to our hearts during the evening service. Every message during this event was sent by GOD. We thank God for sending us men of God who don t mind following Isaiah 58:1, Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. May God continue to bless the Temple Family. TEMPLE YOUTH SPEAK BECOMING LIKE A CHILD - BY: SISTER APRIL SIMS promised to supply all of our needs. I John 3:1 says, What manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons (daughters) of God. We as parents strive to create an environment that is safe and protected for our children so they don t have to worry or be concerned. Jesus has done the same thing for us and much more by sacrificing his life. So, we must trust him and lean not to our own Stop. Take a moment. Observe a group of children playing. Watch their actions. Can you see the light in their eyes when they ve discovered something fun and new? Look at the joy that they have with even the simplest of things. They are innocent, free, and don t have a worry or concern. When we were children we depended on our parents to provide us with food, shelter, clothing, and anything we needed. We readily asked our parents for what we needed, and without doubt or reservation, expected that they would provide. As children, we were adventurous and loved to explore our surroundings. We were excited about life! However, at a certain point in life, we grew up to be adults. We began to look at life differently. Experiences affected our outlook on life and it was not always positive. We became cynical and jaded by bad experiences and lost hope. We began trying to solve every situation on our own. We were depending on our own abilities and not Jesus our Father. This was not the plan that Jesus had for our lives. Jesus is our Father who understanding. In Matthew 6:26-34, Jesus declares in detail just how concerned he is for us. Behold the fowls of the air; for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?... Therefore take no thought, saying, what shall we eat? Or, what shall we drink? Or, wherewithal shall we be clothed?... For your heavenly father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. Jesus doesn t want us to worry about anything. He is our father and he will provide. He requires that we come to him with a child-like faith without wavering and without doubt. He wants us to rest totally and completely in his plan for our lives, just as a child rests in total dependence on their parents. Matthew 18:3 says, Verily I say unto you, except ye be converted and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Mark 10:15 says, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. These words spoken by Jesus require us to become as a child. A requirement is much more than just a request or a suggestion; it is a must. If we do not become as a child, we will miss out on the kingdom of heaven. We must come to Jesus with our whole heart, relying completely on him just like a child. Let s continue to examine our lives daily striving to become as a child; submitting our own ways to Jesus so that he can lead us into his perfect will. May God continue to richly bless you! Thanks to all who contributed to the 85th Commemorative Souvenir Booklet. We appreciate every donation whether it was your ads, words of encouragement, monetary donations or your fervent prayers. May you enjoy your copy of the booklet, as you witness what God has done and is yet doing! Many thanks to Sisters Sierra Silver, April Sims and Marilyn Silver for their labor of love in this project. O R N E R A R E G I V E R S Life s Puzzle Pieces (Posted by Sharon )~Excerpts http://christiancaregiving.blogspot.com I have never been good at putting puzzles together. It is not my talent, and I have never enjoyed trying to fit the pieces together. I have seen completed puzzles, however, and often they portray beautiful scenes. Sometimes it is difficult to see the completed product of my life's puzzle pieces as well. It has been challenging sometimes to understand His plan in the overwhelming moments of my life. Yet, I can know by faith that the Lord loves me and is meeting all my needs. He has forgiven my sins, and He is fitting what I perceive as the missing pieces of my life into a beautiful picture. When I look back on my life I can already see how He has used difficult times for His glory and my good. I can begin to see how the pieces are fitting together. I will, however, never fully see the completed and big picture of God's love and wisdom until I reach eternity. Yet as the picture above illustrates, my life is molded by the heart of God and by His love. I may still see my life as having missing pieces, but He sees the beautiful finished product. Philippians 1:6 (NIV) says, "being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." He is fitting the puzzle pieces of my life together into something beautiful. Dear caregiver, trust that the Lord is also fitting the puzzle pieces of your life together into a beautiful mosaic of His love! Thank You! We greatly appreciate the many readers just like yourself, who have contributed to the Newsletter with your prayers, encouragements and monetary blessings!
