Catholic Family Corner One Church, One Home The Joy of Love experienced by families is also the joy of the Church.(F)or all the many signs of crisis in the institution of marriage, the desire to marry and form a family remains vibrant, especially among young people, and this is an inspiration to the Church. As a response to that desire, the Christian proclamation on the family is good news indeed. Pope Francis, Amoris Laetitia 1 How do you support the good news of marriage in your family?

Jesus reigns as king from his cross, granting entrance into paradise. The cross ties together the heavens and the earth and all around it. The cross is the ladder by which we climb to the heavenly wedding banquet; it is the place where time and eternity meet; it is the flowering Tree of Paradise. The cross is the bridge over the gulf between this world and the next. The cross is where the flow of the Holy Spirit enters into time and space and where we are sucked up into the sweet presence of the Trinity. Text, Philip J. Sandstrom, STD 2001, OCP.
