CHAPTER 1 Year after year we grow up, step by step. But, how exactly does the change happens from one step to another? When we are born, we re already human beings, so the changes are continuous, for ours members just grow bigger. Any type of significant change, such an appearance of a new part of the body is not going to happen during the life cycle, even if we needed it to survive. In any animal, those parts are formed during the period of pregnancy, according to its specie and DNA information. The necessity of having a new part of the body is not encoded in DNA for future baby formation on next pregnancy. So, Nature doesn t know that some specie needs an improvement on next life cycle. The life cycle is too short for an occurrence of some significant modification and the necessity is not propagated to the next pregnancy time. Besides that, the growth of a new part of the body can happen in many steps; however, the first step (the stump of the part and the part documentation in DNA) must have a start. This beginning cannot come in long run, because it is a binary fact: It comes or not. Therefore, we cannot say that during millions of years the new part of the body was formed, because the start must have happened in a specific moment of this millions-of-year period; and this beginning must occur in pregnancy. If all this happens properly, Nature also must prepare a complete documentation of the new part in DNA and must provide instructions to the mother s womb regarding the formation rules of this new part. So, this Nature should be very intelligent and powerful to control and create all these modifications properly. For sure, all of this could never be performed accidentally or by chance. If on this simple example of modification in a mammal were required so many perfect interventions of Nature, imagine how all of the modifications

proposed by evolution theories should be performed to achieve the world nature that we see today! Besides, if gene mutation occurs, it occurs in few genes and it would be really coincidences to have many different genes changes in a harmonious ways in order to allow a new part formation and to be exactly the part that the specie needed to survive. When evolution is discussed, usually is considered that species with few capabilities are older and less evolved than species more sophisticated. But why does man have to thing in such way? Why do all animals should have hightech bodies? For example, if the sea-sponge were not simple, it would not have the function that it has in the ecosystem. Every animal were perfectly designed and placed in its correct functions to provide a perfect maintenance of life on earth. Endless explanations and theories can be written to explain how life and nature were created, however, no one can deny the existence of a mighty God that lives and controls everything.

CHAPTER 2 Sometimes, people try to name this Nature that would perform and control the changes on species by calling it as God. Some God believers, as Christians and Jews, want to explain the creation of life and universe by mixing ideas from Bible with ideas from evolution and big-bang theories. Others, including scientists, try to support Biblical explanations with these sciences theories. For example, it is claimed that God uses the evolution as a resource for his creation, as it was part of his creation process. However, if the creation described in Bible is going to be supported by science theories, the biblical texts must be considered as being totally true. Otherwise, the Bible is not going to be really considered; then, it would be just a conscience relief for those who want to agree with science but are afraid of publicly denying their faith. First of all, the idea of God having to create everything in millions of years does not make sense, for He is God!, He can make all the animals and plants in a few time. Why would God take such a long time to have all things created? In Genesis, chapter 1, we can find the complete description of all creations of God. He created all vegetation in only one day (3 rd Day): 11 Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening, and there was morning the third day. Sky (5 th Day): After this, God created in a single day all creatures that live in Sea and

20 And God said, "Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky." 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them and said, "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth." 23 And there was evening, and there was morning the fifth day. Then, He created also in only one day all creatures that live on land, including the man (6 th Day): 24 And God said, "Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind." And it was so. 25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 26 Then God said, "Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." 27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. 31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning the sixth day. Some people try to interpret these days as being long periods of time, because the scripture says in 2 Peter 3:8: But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day and in Psalms 90:4: A thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night. So, for sure one thousand years can be as one day, and one day as one thousand years (a long period of time). However,

at the end of each day description in Genesis 1, there is a sentence saying there was evening and there was morning. This sentence really gives the idea that the 6 days of creation were calendar-days, because they were determined by the coming of evening and next morning. Therefore, we can notice that it is not possible to adapt some sciences theories about creation with biblical text. The way God chose to create things is not the way thought by man. It can be hard to some people understand this way, because it is metaphysics: It cannot be explained by current science and it does not need to be explained. God is God! He can overpass science and make things the way He wants.

CHAPTER 3 The purpose of chapter 1 was to show that the sciences theories (regarding creation of life and universe) have their gaps and cannot be safely trusted by mankind as being the undeniable explanation of this matter. If you stop for a moment to think in each detail of every single thing that exist, you are going to conclude how impossible would be to have every detail perfectly designed and combined just by chance and coincidences. From the microscope level (such as cells organization, metabolism, DNA encoding) passing through mid-range level (as hormones roles in the body, our vision and hearing system), reaching high level observation (such as food chain, water cycle, carbon cycle) and also considering universe level (as the exactly distance of earth to the sun, the effects of moon in the sea, the translational movement of earth to allow the seasons) we can clearly notice the full control and care of a might God, in each single thing and detail. Besides, most of these different levels details are perfectly combined to allow life on earth. For example, the different energy metabolism for animals and plants (microscope level) are combined to allow the oxygen-cycle (high level detail). Therefore, in order to have billions of details perfectly designed and combined, the only way would be to have one wise and great God, which would master the creation, orderly and harmoniously. In fact, this God exists and He created all things according to his purpose and will, as described in the Holy Scriptures (The Holy Bible). Besides, He created the mankind with special love. The science considered the creation of mankind as a coincidence or a simple consequence of evolution. However, God made us different, because He wanted a people to be His own, to be His friend, to be close to Him.

In spite of His love for mankind, people turned aside from God and made other gods for them. However, God always kept a people as testimony of His existence to the next generations. In Romans, chapter 1, verses 18 throughout 29, we can clearly understand what happened to humanity since the time man turned aside from God: In the past, God tried to show Himself to people, throughout His great and amazing creation: 20 For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities his eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. However, people have always found a way of explain the beginning of everything by their own knowledge and ideas (as it keeps happening until today), denying the power of God and making gods for themselves: 21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles. Therefore, God let people follow their own minds and wisdom, for they definitely did not choose the Knowledge of God: 28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.

Since that time, people have been developing many theories, following their own thoughts and minds. Now, God want us to understand by faith that He is the Creator of all things and everything were created by His word, as it is written in Hebrews 11:3: By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. Here, there is no discussion anymore. Even those sciences gaps pointed out on chapter 1 of this book can perhaps be explained one day. However, by faith we have assurance about the existence of our God. In Hebrews 11:1, we can find a definition of faith: Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. The idea in chapter 1 was not to use science to contest science. The gaps commented there were just illustrations to show their vulnerability and how impossible would be to everything perfectly happens by chance. God is not worried anymore to make people understand His existence by showing them His creation. He wants people who believe in Him and come to Him with faith, as it is said in Hebrews 11:6: And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. And more, God is really interested in have people come to Him, because in spite of all faults committed by them, He still loved them and, after many tries of reconciliation throughout many covenants, He sent His only son (Jesus Christ) to die for our sins and raised him for our justification. This is the new covenant of God with anyone who believes in him. Jesus is the only way to God, as it is written in John 14:6: I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me

Therefore, God is waiting for you to come to Him by faith. The faith is in His son, Jesus Christ. If you have Jesus as your only Lord and Savior, believing that God raised him from the dead, you are going to live with God, our Creator, in heaven, eternally.
