The First Kingdom: Image & Likeness Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. The First Kingdom: The Gift of Dominion Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
The Dwelling Places Ha Mikdash And the LORD God planted a garden Eastward in Eden; Genesis 2:8 Mikdash - The place of God's most concentrated presence
First Kingdom: Paradise/Eden the Garden of God Genesis 2:8.. and there he put the man whom he had formed. Genesis 2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
First Kingdom: The First Dwelling Place! Psalms 50:2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined. Psalms 48:1 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, In the city of our God, His holy mountain. 2 Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth Is Mount Zion in the far north, The city of the great King. Psalms 9:11 Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.
The First Kingdom: The River Of Eden Genesis 2:10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads. 11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; 12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone. 13 And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia. 14 And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.

Ezekiel 31:16..and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth.
The First Kingdom: The Trees Ezekiel 31:8 The cedars in the garden of God could not hide him: the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the chestnut trees were not like his branches; nor any tree in the garden of God was like unto him in his beauty. 9 I have made him fair by the multitude of his branches: so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied him. Genesis 2:9 (NKJV) And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Genesis 2:9 (NIV) The LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Loss of the kingdom Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
The Loss of Dominion Psalms 8:4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? 5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. 6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
The kingdom of Death Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
Separation and Division Genesis 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: 23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. 24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. Psalms 115:16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD'S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.
The Kingdom of the grave HELL created! Ezekiel 28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
The Kingdom of the grave HELL created! Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. 15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
The Kingdom of Sheol(place of the Dead) Created for the devil and his angels Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: Isaiah 5:14 Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure:
Death Appointed unto all men! DEATH An Unrighteous Death Hell The ungodly Kingdom of the grave (Sheol) LARGE GULF The righteous PARADISE (Abrahams bosom) Leviticus 7:27 Whatsoever soul it be that eateth any manner of blood, even that soul shall be cut off from his people. A Righteous Death Genesis 25:8 Then Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people.
The Three kingdoms! The Heaven Of Heavens (Gods Throne) The Kingdom of men (face of the Earth) The Grave or Hades( inside the earth)
Summary That there are three kingdoms. The kingdom of heaven..the first Kingdom The kingdom of men...the second Kingdom The kingdom of the grave..the third Kingdom Who rules each kingdom. That Christ s first coming, was for the purpose of breaking the power of the third kingdom, the kingdom of the grave. Christ s second coming will be to take control of the second kingdom. That each kingdom has entrance requirements. That prior to Christ s resurrection, no man, had entered the kingdom of heaven.
The First Kingdom The Kingdom of heaven John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, sh enter into the kingdom of heave but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Loss of the Earthly Kingdoms Galatians 4:1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; Galatians 4:2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
Angels Given Charge Psalms 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. Hebrews 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits(angels), sent forth to minister(look after) for them who shall be heirs of salvation? Matthew 18:10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels (guardians) do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven. These scriptures clearly show the role and guardianship of the Angels. This explains Satan s comments to Jesus that the kingdoms of this world had been delivered to him.
Angels in Charge So the answer to the question of who ruled the Kingdom of men or kingdom of the earth when Jesus came, was clearly Satan. We see Paul acknowledge this when the apostle describes Satan as the God of this world. In Corinthians chapter 2. 2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. John 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for (Ruler)the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me. JOHN 12:31 "Now is the judgment of this world, now shall the ruler of this world be cast out; 32 and I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself." (RSV)
That which was lost: The Plan to redeem Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
